Lara, I'm an incredibly horrible mapper. But I still make maps and post them just for the learning process and for the time consuming (Yeah, it gives my pathetic life some thing to do). If it's good enough to go into the new patch, then it's great. I like the little demo you gave me a few weeks ago, very nice looking, very facility looking. I don't understand why a training map is being made by a noobie 0.o, I mean players wont be able to understand were the hell there going or doing without an experienced mapper making it. By a noobie? Dude, Lara owns you. Go find a life you attention whore.(@fraser) |

Good luck Lara, i honestly hope your map-making goes well. Even if i had only seen just one screenshot (not as in 'i can't be bothered' kind), just by that it looks good, even better that you have chosen to creat a new tutoriol map.  btw Fraser, may i ask why you are insulting people without provoction? or whould i be wasting my words/be yelled at? Note: Just wondering, what would motivate you to make maps?-i seem to be lagging in progress lately, greatly. |

Fraser, your question is of course valid, however it's the way you worded it. With such an insult in your phrase, you would of course have had to expect some kind of hostile comeback. It's just common knowledge and ethics. Don't try to ease your way through the loopwholes of these "proposed" rules and try to use them, because they'll backfire. Rules are of course set to enforce. However, even enforcers can see the shotty holes in your preaching of "rules."
Now, I'll ask Fraser's question in a more civilized manner.
Why is Laramee the only one creating the map? I thought Kyben and the other mappers would be helping. Regardless of Fraser's comments, I have doubts about an unexperienced mapper.

Acutally, Lara is doing a very good job on the map. I played the latest build of it today, the only real problems is maybe a few typos in the messages, and some sizing issues.

Its gonna end up being a single room with no meshes and probley not even a light bulb in it, People need to be more serious wen they say hey lets see you map for a mod even though you have never mapped don't have a flying fuck what you're doing and make it so people know were to go and what to do, Hey thats all peachy if you're looking for a confused rat, But if people really wanna know what there doing the best map to make is of the 5 main maps in the game edit them and turn them all in to tutorials its not a simple task for even a good mapper, So why have this map left in the hands with some one who don't know what she's doing I'm telling ya, Without any help from over mappers, Don't expect this training map to come out till 2012 or maby even never..

Looking great Lara.
@ Fraser: Seriously, shut the fsck up and die in a fire. Lara's doing a great job, and if you took 2 seconds to look at the image she posted it's obviously not "just a box with no light in it".
The only thing that I could imagine being difficult would be the events and actors required for each of the tasks, like the shoot this, go to next room, et cetera. Even then, there's faust and a whole community to power this thing if Lara gets stuck.
