Bitch to who ? They can do nothing as long as the developers of the game is not doing anything against the law. Its up to people themself to determine wether they want to play the violent games or not. Even a 5 year old knows to determine wether a game amuses him or not. And seeing that the game has no effect, we should not be having this conversation, we should be out on the streets, putting up fliers everywere that annouces: Violent games effect on the human being = zero

Have you ever seen the game Manhunt? A bunch of teenagers in Britian, played the game, and decided to live it for real life. They went out and murdered some one.....I can't remember where exactly or what they did. But I know they murdered some one because they played the game, they awere only like 14 and 15 or some thing.

Another account, Grand Theft Auto, a bunch of peopel have immitated that too.


Look, the point is. It's not OUR fault if a kid goes off and kills some one for playing WE made, no matter who we are or what we made. It's the parents fault for not teaching their children the difference between right and wrong, fun and serious. But people DO NOT want to hear it's their fault. Mothers and Fathers will protest, and go to extreme measures, because their kid did some thing and they don't want to responciblity. Some one sees a bunch of naked little kids running around or some thing, they'll call it porn and if they make a big enough stink, things will become nasty, and legal and it'd have to be removed for "illegal pornograhpic images", we don't give people the right to download it or not. We have it up there, because Alex made and wants it to be spreaded around. So if some eight year old kid, who's mother doesn't teach him the correct values in life, sees a kid in the game, blows his head off, and he starts getting life and a game mixed up, he sees some other kid playing outside, decides to play "zombies" and kills the kid. All this can happen, it's not drastic, it's real, it has before happened, and still does happen.

Now with all that said, even now, we could get yelled at, but with the law being on our side, we could get away with it easily now, but adding a child naked even if nothing is technically showing, could lead to a mother and hten legal actions and blah blah blah, annoying stuff that has no point to it for this kinda matter, that could happen easily, so if we add clothing, then the mother may bitch and moan and whine that her child is killing other kids, so instead of simpley taking the game away from the child, and teaching the child some thing about life, she'll just try and get it banned. Even if she doesn't succeed, we don't NEED all that trouble.


The simpel fact is, adding a child, although it'd be neat and creepy, could add problems. F.E.A.R is a major company, nothing a mother can do, it's protected under the legal rating system that rates it M. This is different, small, user made mod. It will become a hassle is all I'm saying. If the team decides to put it in, then that's great, they may do so, and if they ask me to help, I'd help. But it's still a dangerous ploy, and needs to be thoat over more then a simple request.

3D Modeling is a lot harder then you think, it requires a lot of time and dedictation as'well as knowledge of life and of the things you model. Sure, anyone can model, but the ability to model some thing REAL looking, that moves, acts, and etc realistically is a lot harder. It requires rigging a realistica skeleton for one, knowing what you want to build, and thinking of the best way to build it ahead of time and etc.


While it is hard, it is possible to learn. If you would liek to learn 3D modeling, I'd suggest finding a trial and just trying it out some where. Maya is what I use, and 3D Max is what Abyx uses. Both good programs, and both have their differences.

all and all, I love the idea of the kids, I think it's creepy, but the fact that it is kids, we could loose a percentage or two of our community because that persons' parent doesn't want their kid playing and killing other kids even if they don't mind the regular violence and etc.


If the team decides to put it in, then you'd just have to make sure it's a little, fool proof, so some thing acts like a counter to any rash thoughts from mothers or fathers, allow the kid to still play without loosing members, and without them being too harsh on the mod for it.

I have 3d max myself, and it's much harder to get into than UEd. In UEd if you have a mapped plan, you do the MAIN area first, and add to it. But try modeling a 3d character inside max, or maya, ever tried starting at the torso? It's complicated to get right, unlike UEd, there is no "Make a wall, cut THIS part out, and leave that part." , there is to a certain extent, but not as useful as UEd.

I think people who immitate games in real life, are just complete dumbasses. It's a game...get a grip.
