Its most unlikely. The parents would have to be imposibly unattending to their kid to not even once having this thought going through their head; Hey, maybe little Timmy is not playing with rabbits on his pc. Maybe hes really dismembering zombies with a fire axe. If thats the case, they should not be allowed to parent.... You must be new to the internet or something. It happens all the time, trust me. And i dare to ask, what is the problem of the kids playing the games? I´m no sadist, but i dont think they play the game and then go out and rips a classmates head off for the fun of it. I´m no sadist, but i dont think they play the game and then go out and rips a classmates head off for the fun of it. They play because of the competition and the feeling of succes. If they win, that is... I never said I'm against it, infact I was playing Doom when I was 5. It's just, people bitch, and having to deal with parents that bitch at the creators of a game or mod for "Corrupting their child's mind but subjecting them to this horror." or something, is really not worth the trouble unless someone is really good at argueing, and that's not me. Dastard commented on them being spirits or something to avoid people bitching. |

Haha playing doom since you was 5, I was playing resident evil 2 at the age of 6, i ust to think that the hunk was behind my sofa. |

Okay look. you don't seem to realize how many kids play video games that their parents buy for them just because they want it, and not because the parent thinks it's a good thing to buy for their child. Same thing goes for mods, a kid gets a game and turns the gore off, they find a mod that does not allow gore to be disabled, parents see kid killing massive amounts of nude people with shotguns and stuff, and then seeing them kill other little kids, the first thing a soccer mom will think: "OH MY GOD! IT'S COLUMBINE ALL OVER AGAIN!1111" or something. Though I hate to refrence that, it's true. |
