How does it not lag on your system? Are you running a super computer?

is my fixed 1.1 still lagging? if so then i need help. Cant figure out why. Well, @ Gerx your right I tried to download the mappack and it does the same thing, I will look for another hist for the map but I guess I need to fix the map first if it still lags (a bit more feedback from other players would be helpfull here)

I finally played the fixed one with less trees. It still lags, but its about half of what it used to be. If you remove a few more objects it should run perfectly.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Thats so funny! I could just delete everything! Wow! Thats so pointless. I laughed my ass off seriously! Thanks sooooo much for your help it is always good to know that some people honestly try to help you. Hmm, Back to Big Joh who is actually TRYING. What do you think about downscaling the textures (i have most of them 1024x1024. Oh and do you think the libary books (which are about 200 are causing the trouble? I would just delete most of them. But I dont wnat erase stuff that does not need to go.

Say you want to delete all actors but two.
You select all, then deselect these two. It's not pointless.

Too many custom textures could cause lag, as I found out, even if they're small, so if you have tons of different types of libary books, might be one, deleting unused textures and just setting iit to one book type if it isn't already might help a whole lot.

I don't think its the texture size, as I have a 256mb video card, I think its just lots of objects making my CPU and RAM work hard. deleting some unneeded furniture and books is probably all that needs to be done.

ok then, thanks for your help (and explaining how a computer works, Ram and Cpu you say..) hmm well yeah I will just delete a load of books. Do you think that will do the trick? They are almost 200 I guess. Or do I need to erase bulkier things? how come most maps look full (I mean furnitured and stuff) and still dont lag?

I'd really say it's the books, I don't know how many polys they are, but they're probably around maybe a hundred or so, and then multply that by 200 and then all the OTHER furniture, the player models, the weapon models, the ammo spawns, the weapon spawns, the zombies, ect.
Just so much to render.
