As you can see, this is my first post in this forum concerning my first map ever made. I spent about a month for it because I'm a editor noob and this is my first attempt. Well, I uploaded some pictures, I am looking forward for feedback. ;D The outside of the school. It has two floors, the ground floor and a dark, dark cellar I was about to get jumped from behind right there. The "ol´shoppe" (in the dark cellar mentioned before) I guess I spent most of the time making this room edit: Okay since Laramee Lestaria offered her beta testing I will post my map here, I hope you´ll enjoy! files.filefront.com//;5964499;;/

noo, i Have godlike photoshop skills but seriously.. she actually does, but the stuff doesnt move when she does.. I think its still a nice effect, I mean she is a gunshopkeeper and has nothing of her stuff on her? Thats like a skinny butcher.

Doesn't look bad for a first map. Don't know how scary it will be in the daytime. But then again, no map has scared me at night. I'll check it out later when I got time.

I didn't get to play it a whole lot, but it seems fairly well done. Good job! I'll let your know if I find any exploits or horrible bugs.

this is your first map? WOW i like it here are my pros and cons. pros: + good atmo. the shool-feeling worx quiet good. + good scaling. right between to narrow to fight and to wide to feel strange. + good layout. the zeds flow good in this map. nice escape option for the player. +well placed weapon-spawns imo cons: - to less ammo-spawns -cellar is to dark to be playable. solution: add some lightsources like: flikering lamps a brocken fusebox with flikering sparks burning things like gas pipes or furniture -some bot-route issues -some design-issues BUT i think that normal for a first time ever UED-map here are some suggestions for goodlook-korrektions: i hope that helps keep up the good work ;D

wooow! tronicmind thanks a lot! your motivating me. Well, First thing I am going to do is lighting up the cellar.. Hey warte.. bist ja Deutscher! Egal, I keep on speaking English. Soo, I´ll start to fix it and do a 1.1 asap. My problem is that I want the characters to be able to jump out of the windows, worked with UT2004 but now with KF, the characters just get stuck. Does anyone have advice for that?
