Is Resident Evil Outbreak also available on PC? Carrying a wounded teammate on your shoulder sounds very interesting and intense, but I'm not a big fan of consoles and never had one. Resident Evil: Cold Blood, a Half-Life 1 coop mod is quite nice and for HL 2 they planned Resident Evil: Twilight for the Source engine. For Half-Life there is also a coop mod called Brainbread, but it becomes very boring after you've played it a little. In Zombie Panic you don't play real coop, there is 1 zombie against the survivors and if one of them gets killed, he also becomes a zombie until everyone is either a zombie or the survivors outlasted long enough. Can be very funny and give good laughs. I must say Killing Floor is the best zombie multiplayer mod so far and keeps the players more interested than all the others I've played. The others simply become boring on some point. For a good single player zombie experience you should definately check out www.outofhell.net . I've been following the development of this mod for so long now and finally its release isn't very far away. Reminds me a lot of KF, how it looks and I think this one should be the SP equivalent to KF, because it only focuses on single player.

ive never seen outbreak on pc, re4 is gonna be brillant on pc cant wait to see a multiplayer mod come out for it. theres a mod called over-run which is a zombie mod for source which looks pretty decent no idea when its gonna be ready though, i do think that kf is the best zombie mod at the moment if you disgard all of the bugs.

There's an interesting mod for GTA with a zombie theme... can't remember the name, but the trailer hooked me mostly because it used the theme music from Zombies Ate My Neighbors (THE best coop zombie game... lol).
Zombie Panic is coop... if you have one guy play zombies and everyone else pick a single person... we were trying to work on automated rules, such as zombies have to move full speed toward the closest person, that way it runs itself, but never had time to perfect it. The rules always pissed me off... they were so unfinished...
RE Outbreak is interesting in that you really have to be patient, learn the game, and work with each other to survive. It can get pretty insane, one level is inside a building that is on fire... probably the most amazing moment is in the second level, where you and your friends climb into an air vent, and when you come out, you end up in random locations on the map (this is how it starts). The first time I was like "Hey, are you coming out?" And the response, "I am out... where are you?" just stopped me. A definate "Oooh, those bastards" moment... I was the plumber, and totally cut off from my friends... awesome game...
Actually just reinstalled Half Life to try the mod "The Ship" before it's commercial release...

Actually just reinstalled Half Life to try the mod "The Ship" before it's commercial release... I've also read about it and it sounds interesting. Should be somewhat complicated in the start, but fun after you figured it out. Too bad my LAN buddies would be too dumb for it lol! They're more into brainlessly shooting stuff ;D

I dunno...usually games released on steam have an...unfinished, I guess, feel to them. I've tried a lot of them on my bud's computer, and have not liked them. I mean, day of defeat only had a handfull of maps(too few for a commercial release, plus I have no respect for people that take a free mod, slap on some better graphics, and call it a retail game*), that shadowgrounds game was a little strange, but I might pick it up if I get bored later this summer; same with darwinia. Sin episode 1 was just too short to justify the 20 bucks(didn't have a demo; I can only imagine if it did it would consist of the title and options screens), and aftermath was just...ugh. Get a story synopsis and save the twenty bucks. Don't even get me started on ragdoll kung fu. That game's target audience are people who are constantly high.
Maybe the ship will be alright; I haven't seen much about it. I'm definately going to try out the demo before I get it.
*I don't mean I expect everything for free, of course, its just...mods should be mods, ya? It just seems like they're acting like crack dealers: first one's free, but you have to pay for more. I mean, if this keeps up mod making won't be a fan service, it'll be a business, and you'll get people demanding they be paid for their work on a mod instead of doing it out of...well, love of the game with a touch of masichism and insanity, I guess.[/rant]

I completely agree... nothing that takes half an hour to beat is really worth $20, save for a fighting game...
Hell, I barely buy games any more... Shadow of the Colossus was probably the last game I bought that really, really made me feel my money was worthwhile... though I suppose when I break down and get Guitar Hero I'll feel the same way...

I need to play through Fallout 2... never did... Oh, just played an amazing game, Fight Night Round 3... sounds bad, being a boxing game, and honestly I know nothing about boxing (let alone like it) but the game is absolutely amazing... best on the 360, but I'm playing it on PS2. My buddy and I just beat the hell out of each other for hours on it... really well made, and man when you get that knock out punch through, the slow-mo replay just makes you grin.

Total Annihilation- Best old school RTS, me and my bro lived on that game playing lan back in the day. Diablo 2- Best RPG ever. Fallout 2- Love the freedom of just doing whatever the hell you want. The people who made Oblivion are making Fallout 3, must get it! Oblivion-Pretty to look at. Monkey Island series- My favorite adventure games. Rollercoaster Tycoon- Favorite tycoon, can't beat leaving the track unfinished and letting the rollercoaster crash with all the people in it. Battlefield 2- Me and my friends get together in a squad and kick ass. ;D Guildwars- Not allowed to get games with monthly subscriptions, only MMO I can afford. GTA:San Andrea- That games just perfect. I can go on and on, and highfive to the guy who said Future Cop LAPD, that brings back memories.

San Andreas really is an amazing game. Sad people get caught up in the violence and all. I can't imagine how much work it took to write that.
I have to add it: Guitar Hero. If you do not have this game, you are hurting yourself... especially if you have ever enjoyed rock music, or ever, EVER pulled out an air guitar on a song. It's so good it's almost criminal. Now's the best time to get it too, seeing as how at any Gamestop if you turn in three used PS2 or Xbox games you get an extra $10 trade in... ($20 for six, etc.)
On that note, Ozzy Osbourne's Bark At The Moon is kicking my ass...
