I want to revive this thread. Okay it was not dead.. More like K.O. But still, the fact that more is posted in the of topic sections than the official threads makes me a bit upset. I was wondering, where is the LAW based on? I searched the net a bit and found the piat Light anti tank weapon, is it somehow related? Edit.. never mind, after some searching I found this: LAW 80 I hope this picture can be of help in making the 2.0 LAW adittional info: Gauge: 66mm Weight: 2,150 kg Effective maximum range: 200 m initial Speed: 158 m/s Destructivity Homogeneous steel: 25 to 30 cm Concrete: 75 cm Sandbags: 180 cm

That's some useful figures (although we'll probably throw them out the window in favour of 'tweaking the numbers until it's fun to use ) - however, they miss a crucial one: We need to know the airspeed velocity of an unladen zombie after said zombie catches one of these things square in the chest. Damn engineers never tell you the interesting statistics ;D

Lara, the PIAT is a British WW2 tank buster, not used anymore. And the LAW is a one use weapon. It's American and I don't think it's used anymore. I can't remember. Infact, I think the LAW ingame is supposed to be based off of this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:LAW80.jpgAnd that's the only picture I could find of it. Edit: Fuck it, copy and paste it into the address bar.

Yeah, the LAW is a one shot weapon... they're pretty though, this shop near where I used to live in Indiana had one on sale (filled with concrete mind you) for display purposes... thought it'd make a nice ikebana stand...

Now regarding the Rocket Propelled Grenades about 2 pages back, The key words are ROCKET and PROPELLED which means its pretty much a bigger grenade getting pushed with force from a rocket implanted in the back of the grenade. A grenade launcher would just launch grenades out of the gun (depending on which angle it is pointed) and usually have a longer distance and higher explosives.

i would also like to point out that very few rpgl's use fragmentation rounds. it would make more sense for hand grenades to have a greater effect on area targets and for the law to be more suited for point targets (having a smaller blast radius but dealing more damage), as in reality.

Reality? We're shooting ZOMBIES with a weapon intended for anti-armour purposes. A healthy dose of artistic license is used whenever funness is more important than realness

just think, how cool would it be to pack a grenade with double the explosion size (due to it being a grenade launcher grenade and not a hand held one)into a group of scrakes and then being able to blow off a fleshpounds head on the other side of west london? we are talking EXTREME gore and coolness-GORE!!!
