Where can i download the Epic Map Pack? ive downloaded a few from epic but none of them work can someone give me a direct link to the file that i need to get this working in Multiplayey

this is just a suggestion but... i have found that the winchester and handcannon are realy hard to use as long range weapons without crosshairs or iron sights. So for all long range weapons couldnt you give them a scope or something?

Hey, first I'd like to thank you guys for making a zombie co-op mod, there can never be enough of them around! On to my point, everytime I try to join a multiplayer game I also get the d/l of maps/textures, it will get some of the way thru download then lose connection, I copied all of the kf maps and textures into UT2004 proper folders just to see if that would worlk , but it didnt. Any suggestions?

Do not copy ANY KF content into your UT2k4 folders.
In other words, anything Killing Floor related like maps or textures should be inside the KFmod folder and its appropriate subfolders.
Regarding the Downloading Textures problem, I am still working on a fix for it, but hopefully we will be able to figure out what is causing it sooner rather than later.
It occurs on some servers, and not on others. Try joining different ones, or starting your own.

Just to test a theory, I downloaded installers from 2 differnt mirrors. I then joined a game just fine with the install from mirror 1. But when I copied killing floor textures from a filefront install folder into the install folder from mirror one, I got this error message: "Failed Launch URL, Killing Floor Textures Mismatch". Also I can host just fine. THerefore, I think that the bug where people have to redownload textures is caused by the fact that the killing floor textures in some of the installers are differnt.

I am sure this has been posted by most but since some of you are past this one point in SP, I would like to stat I keep getting the black screen after finding the soldier, and when I click resume SP game, it just stays there and locks up. I read somewhere alex you said just to reload and it should work, I tried it and it didnt work for me. Any tips how to avoid getting killed by that closing door I can hear the squich sound? lol
Also not a Bug, but a nice feature when you can that would add to the game is the Sounds for hitting objects. I take an axe and it a car with it, no sound, same with moveable objects. It make them feel like they arent there in the 3d universe. Also the Glass cannot be ddestroyed with the AXE, I wanted to save ammo and couldnt. lol
Pluses, Absolute wonderful maps, and colors. havent got to the zombies yet and need help on that one part but so far a solide A, I dont give a plus because of the Sounds for the abjects and the small bugs. ;-) P.S. THe menu should reflect what weapons are keyed to what right now they say bind key to Stungun etc, standard UT weapons. just a little touch that would be nice looking.
Thanks for the mod, nice work, I look forward to the patch and will look around the thread to find help on that issue, but I hope someone has a fix for the cutscene problem.

Glass cannot be destroyed with an AXE? NO HIT SOUNDS? Guys....THis sounds like there are some WRONG versions of KF floating around the net. These things are all fully working in the build I have. (Melee hit sounds and damages included).

I only have a few sounds with impact with certain things and I never bothered to find the axe, but I know bare hands will not break glass. Also, if people are having problems with training, you can use the flashlight on the 9mm as a kind of crosshair just to give you an idea where to fire.
Another problem I ran into was when you enter a room the door swings into the room and when you try to exit it swings the same way and it is very easy to get trapped until the door swings closed again.

On that bug where when you buy a weapon and it disapears when you switch, I think it only happens if you buy the weapon from the "power weapon" tab. Also, you spawn with that machine gun, and it works just fine, but if you sell it to the locker and buy it back, it will disapear if you switch weapons. Also, I noticed that when I bought the "bugged" weapons as the host, they came with no ammo, but I still had the gun. I also have a theory on that texture bug. I downloaded the release off a non file front server this morning, then downloaded the filefront one later, and there was an almost insignificant differance in texture sizes. COuld that cause the bug of having to donload the texture even if you already have it? On the chainsaw, secondary fire is too powerful. It seems to instakill all zombies, and hits a ton of them at once. It needs to be toned down a bit. Lastly, Is anybody else seeing servers with pings of n/a? heres a thing for yeh ..u dont get any ammo when u buy a new gun...and if ur too lazy to press the god damn wep number keys. it should say bullpup has no ammo or switch to that gun.

By the way, the bug with the shotgun disapearing is caused by the buy system with the locker, because if you pick up a shotgun off the ground the bug doesn't happen.
The filefront download mirror has differn't textures then mirror #1 or 2, which I think causes the textures bug.
It is possible to add a crosshair to a weapon by going into KFmodUser.ini and changin bCrosshairShow=false to bCrosshairShow=True. This is a bug if we arn't supposed to have an aimer period.
I don't know if this happens to anybody else, but when I host a server and buy guns, the don't come with ammo.

to sort out the no crosshair thing just draw a little dot on ur moniter as a little cross hair thats what i do ..not the most effective but it works. u can work how to possition the cross hair right cos i cant be bothered to type it down.. got another little REALY fun bug... on kf-manor go into locker shed..see those chairs ? push one over then stand on the back of the chair ( the bit that ur back leans on ..on a chair) then with a mellee wep while standing on the chair back hit the chair cussion and you should steadily slide across the floor like a skate board, hehe... keep on doing this till ur vehicle needs are done...and i have only tested it with the base ball bat, baaad karma. another amusing bug is the puff of blood one ... try this get the baseball bat or the axe then hop ontop of a zombie ( wich isnt paying attention to you), a crowd is best...the zombie must be near death that your standing on, and the fun part is, aim downwards and wack the zombie on the head he should go POOF in a big splatter of blood ...yet whers the corpse ..lol ( found it out on kf manor ...managed to jump on zombies head in a crowd and hit it....twas a gorefast) takes a little practise to do both of these bugs ...i think chair one not bug seen as though its karma and its how its sopposed to react.. ...just like to ask does all weps have 2 firing modes ..if so half of them dont work especial axe one cos i would like a tripple wammy blow... try this ... on the last wave the gorefasts come out ..right ? on the kf- sewers try and get urself realy purched next to a corner the big zombies will just stay round the corner...the zombies ai knows ur there ..but are confused because theyr link to the player is partialy blocked. nothing can realy fix this but to just walk round the corner and let there path free... mehehe i have a few more bugs ..wich are too fun to give away ..no biggy though.. ;D all in all its still good
