First off, read this: mrkadish.proboards40.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1125460514Alex is obviously aware that certain bugs exist in the 1.0 release, and intends to fix them for the next release. So don't bother bitching and moaning about them. Still, I'm sure we'll all discover a few things that he may or may not be aware of, and we're going to want to post about them, so let's keep it nice and organized here. When posting about a bug, please try not to simply complain. "OMG this shit is unfinished and buggy, I want my 10 minutes back!!1" is not acceptable. Your bug reports should look more like "I noticed that, if you're zoomed in with the Bullpup and switch weapons, your view will stay zoomed in." (something fixed from the demo) This actually provides useful information so the team can fix it. That said, I have a question regarding the existing bugs: When you say "clientside MP", what do you mean? Do you mean when playing with bots? Or that the bug only appears that way to the client, but it still functions as it should for everyone else? Will these affect gameplay online?

Clientside multiplayer refers to an issue that any clients joining a host's server will see, and the host may not. Unless it's a dedicated server that is, and then everyone is a "client" , if you get my drift. Netcode is dodgy business.

Download the UT004 Bonus Pack, from the epic website, if you get this error.

Ok, finally got it. No errors for my part. I tried out the single-player portion and noticed a few things: * After I meet up with the wounded soldier, I just get a black screen with "Press Fire to view from another player. What do I have to do to continue? * The first part of the training is really hard to do.

* After I meet up with the wounded soldier, I just get a black screen with "Press Fire to view from another player. What do I have to do to continue? That bug is REALLY biting my balls. I've had a large number of people say they get it too. I'll have a fix, soon. I'm reinstalling UT2k4 clean and trying to mod out cold turkey to see if I can replicate the error. Look what I DO for you guys!

I think I figured out what's causing the "bug". What happens is that the player is still standing in the doorway during the cutscene. When the door closes, it gibs the player, hence the death message.

Yea, the first time I got it, i heard a little squish noise during the cutscene..... lol.
And I would be happy to host a server, just my internet is running as slow as 56k (Running with a T3 line from school, someone or many ppl are downloading too much porn/illegit music and i am getting 6k/sec currently.)
After I download this, im getting a packet sniffer and im gonna see who is doing this shit....

Sometimes the mod opens in a window and when you maximize it the menu music is playing twice. So it sounds like the same song playing out of sync. Starting a game fixes it, though. So no biggy.
When in singleplayer and you hit escape there is no way to return. "Resume Game" tries to load a map named ResumeGame or something then just starts over at the Intro level.
Anyway, I've only played for about an hour and that's all I have to complain about.

When in SP, if you press escape. You are paused.
You must press escape again, and click once to unpause.
From the escape menu you can click retry to start from the beginning of the map.
