I think he means that, if you go all the way to the main menu, there's no way back to the game you were playing. I noticed this in the OoH demo, too, and only now realized that's because you're quitting your current game when you go all the way to the menu.

No, but you can start from the LAST level you got to, with your ammo and health and weaponry etc. saved by clicking :RESUME SP GAME" on the main menu It's a checkpoint system, there is no mid-level loading or quicksaves or any of that. It's done map by map.

dont know if u have noticed this but.. me and my squad in deep shit loads of gorefasts etc i save up then buy hunting rifle ....i looked in ammo section ..and there was no ammo for the hunting rifle, i instantly it was a realy big oh shit .... i started pressing the buttons 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 ...it didnt say hunting rifle has no ammo ..looked through weps by using scroll ..no hunting rifle only a hand cannon with a few bullets...and what is most bowel cripplyingly frustrating is that it wasted my frags ! plus i had to throw my bull pup to buy it now bullpup gone all frags gone ..in big trouble..other thing that i noticed i can only access my melee wepons with the scroll ( fists + base ball bat). so i have to spend time picking the right key (2 or 3 ..i think) i made a ingenius solution to the aiming problem on the tutorial or on ur average sharp shooting zombie hunt, just shoot the ground with the wep u have *and no dont be smart and use the law or grenade has to be pistol or something* hence you shoot the gun onto the floor it makes a smoke puff use a felt tip pen to mark where the smoke puff started off , dont move once u shot the gun... hey presto ur very own slightly home made looking cross hair ... and make sure the pen rubs off ..it may dry and stick....AND DONT USE WATER you should be able to buy the ammo even though you dont have the gun ! the guns name should be next to teh ammo name incase of confusion like nato blabla (bullpup) thing im not that confortable with is the bots dont take any damage somtimes when they get attacked,i have only tested that theori on novice it may clear up on higher difficulty... the ammo goes to quickly cos the zombies too strong if somethings i said are wrong or cofusing blame the scrake with his chainsaw stuck in a fence and refuses to let go of it...

Lost all controls except mouselook after loading sp05. No hud, no response from keyboard or mouseclick. Haven't attempted to duplicate yet so can't say how common it is. Alt-tabbed out and closed, got gpf though it's likely I got it just from closing 2k4 when minimized. UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48]

Of course, it only happens at the START of KFS-05 so you can just click Resume SP Game Button on the menu and you're right back,

This isn't necessarily a bug, depending upon how you look at it; but I was wondering if it would be possible to fix the multiplayer character setup so that you can only play using Killing Floor's character models. People playing with UT2k4's models really ruin the aesthetic. Not a horrible deal or anything, though.

On that bug where when you buy a weapon and it disapears when you switch, I think it only happens if you buy the weapon from the "power weapon" tab. Also, you spawn with that machine gun, and it works just fine, but if you sell it to the locker and buy it back, it will disapear if you switch weapons. Also, I noticed that when I bought the "bugged" weapons as the host, they came with no ammo, but I still had the gun.
I also have a theory on that texture bug. I downloaded the release off a non file front server this morning, then downloaded the filefront one later, and there was an almost insignificant differance in texture sizes. COuld that cause the bug of having to donload the texture even if you already have it?
On the chainsaw, secondary fire is too powerful. It seems to instakill all zombies, and hits a ton of them at once. It needs to be toned down a bit.
Lastly, Is anybody else seeing servers with pings of n/a?

I noticed that if you push a barrel into the weapons locker you can move it around...at one point we pushed it behind something and couldn't get to it anymore . Also my winchester appears to have a very tiny bullet making it hard to hit anything...especially without a crosshair or zoom...don't know if that counts a a bug or not. It seemed to jam from time to time as well.

Bots are real really stupid. Can't buy new weapons and can't get ammunition. After a round or two their all swinging away at zombies and they also never ever seem to die.

ermmm. You can also get cut up in the doors of the training mission....I got fed up not being able to hit the targets, so tried jumping over the barrier and got squished! lol Then I couldnt figure out how to respawn?
