Hey,my first post,and its gonna be quite big.All/few bugs and suggestions i know/would like to see! BUGS: Offices ON the roof to the side of the double door leading to the stairs,it is possible to throw a grenade or shoot through it,even well its welded. on the roof the other double door controls the other one,meaning you can weld the other one and it will weld the one by the stairs. On the elevator it is possible to crouch on the edge near the door and stay there as the elevator goes down/up. sometimes the enemy can stop spawning all together unless you wait a while (rare) West London There is the door that can be bugged sometimes (walk through it when its shut) at the front of the police station (i don't know if this is the gate bug ) it is possible to shotgun jump onto the statue to the left of the spawn,where no specimens can get you except sirens.. Manor you can shotgun jump onto the wooden pole by the cave hill near the back of the house. Sometimes the doors break when trying to weld them just by walking into them. Swamp Some,most,monsters can and will get stuck at the bottom of the stairs/ramp on the shack. Sometimes it is possible to have a law and pick up a hand cannon even if the weight is full,meaning the hc has no weight. When it says *connecting XX%* if you press escape then the screen may go black,and you may even see a fuzzy line (reacts to mouse) if you hold a weapon,sell it then shoot it,drop it,pick it back up again then you can sell a weapon but keep it.*needs to be fixed* Sometimes the 9mm handgun can say 15 rounds loaded but must be reloaded,the same with the law.It says 0 rockets loaded but still shoots. If you are using a 9mm (or other gun i think) and you press r fast to reload,sometimes it doesn't play the reload animation. The score board can show more than one name of one person sometimes. I think thats all i can remember,when i find more i will edit.please post if you have more. SUGGESTIONS Make players run faster,they are way to small their animation looks like they walk,the army run with a rpg and a 9mm on them. fix the 3rd person animations,they jump from one animation to another,making it look weird Make it possible to kick other players. Fix the intro/credits movie,for me it seems to stay on *SHATTER LINE PRESENTS*. Add more atmosphere to the game,it seems all arcade to me,like theres not enough bloom/dynamic lighting (cod4 graphics would own it ),not saying the game sux,its the best. Change the weapon sounds,the 9mm sound like they have no bass,also taking away some atmosphere. allow the player to purchase objects like weight packs to increase weight,these can cost a high price like $1000. and could increase weight by 4-5... Fix the karma objects or remove them,they do get in everyones way when going backwards down the stairs on offices and you spin around on it. For fun and tactical aiming,add laser sights + flash lights to the 9mms and maybe others,but make the lasers quite small and move alot when you breathe on the game etc,so it doesn't act as a cross hair. I've noticed the combat shotgun has what seems like a little aim piece on the top of it,shame it doesn't work,but it doesn't have an alt fire so maybe it could use the aim. the hunting shotgun should have its max ammo increased abit,as it goes very quick,and its weight dropped by one. Some new mutators should be made just for kf such as enabling you to shoot and even walk through other players as they can get in the way. Increase hall way sizes on different maps including Manor. Increase re-loading speed a tiny bit on the shotguns. Some doors don't show a welding % but they are being welded,please make all doors weldable. In spectator mode,provide a small hud giving details like specimens remaining and allow a left click = scroll across different players. Disable shotgun jumping to disable access to high places as stated in the bugs section. Currently i can't think of anymore but i might edit this post tomorrow with more ;D *looks up* HOLY,a big post if you have anymore just post it and i will edit this post. CYA!

hehe i knew i shouldn't of mentioned cod 4 my main ones i would like to see are laser sights,faster people (cmon!) and more NON-arcade like lighting *chuckles* EDIT: OMG alex,that guy in the depth pic looks like captain Price from COD 4

hehe got more as i said...
make laser sights buyable for around 150-300 for the 9mm gun. increase the 6 player limit. increase running speed (repeated......).damnit..i've lost em

How do we balance out the fact that they aren't carrying around a walking Death-cannon. Should they be able to fly perhaps? or clip through walls? Who cares what you saw in a film. films are bullshit, just like games. It's done in the name of balance.

wow,good point,hmm i dunno,but it does need increasing somehow,make the monsters faster,but then the maps are problems...uh just increase the one with heavy weight a tiny bit : edit I agree,i can say,but its up to you,its good enough already though.to go suicidal in the house in swamp

We've all had our say about balance, and what works best. Coming in late and making suggestions, you run the risk of not knowing what you're talking about. It really is abit like a deck of cards. If you change one thing, you run the risk of collapsing everything, and having to start again.

You came in a bit off, and bringing suggestions that are very uneducated in the ways of this mod seeing as how you make suggestions assuming it would be a matter of click-click done. ha. For one thing ALEX IS THE ONLY ONE WORKING ON THIS MOD. Thus even if it was as simple as click-click done. That would be a lot of click-click done. Open the editor: click-click done. Open up various levels, coding script tools, other shite needed in the magical art of coding. Click-click done, Click-click-done, Click-click-done. Design models for the new weapons. Click-Click done, click-Click done, Click-click done. Design seperate animations for the weapons. Click-click donex15. Use the magical mod fixing program to just fix all the bugs. Click-Click done. Design character animations for the new weapons. Click-click donex12 Implement the code to allow them to spawn at item points. Click-click done. Click-click done. Click-click done. And we're nowhere near even getting past the weapons yet, we hav the issues of bot programming character reactions and scaling the damage, not to mention the prices and other shit. I mean seriously. WTF. Please for the love of God don't prance into a forum and say "FIX IT" as though you weild almighty power of the modder. He does it because he loves it. And you're only allowed to pester him (this is coming from the mans mouth, or rather his fingertips as he typed it here to myself when asking if and when 2.5 was still in production) if you start paying him or send your hot sister over to fellate him on a regular basis or something along those lines...

I do like the idea of maybe a melee attack with some weapons. But to stop spamming it has a time limit before you can do it again, it only stuns enemies and you can only do it with certain weapons or have it so the speed of the melee attack is based on its weight, therefore don't try it with a LAW.

Melee attacks are not really necessary. You´ve always got your knife to fall back to and you don´t really want to go into melee against most enemies anyway.

What KF does need, I think is a hotkey to automatically switch to your best melee weapon. I sometimes find it annoying having to browse through all my gear just to get to what i want.
