An Apology Long Overdue...

I don't really know how to start this, except to say that more than I have ever meant it, I'm sorry for vanishing like that. I'll tell you all what I told Lara, that what happened was a combination of things. After the move, and the absurdly long time that it took to get internet (well, stable internet), I pretty much got buried in my work. My little sister was living with me as well by then, and there were some serious problems between her and my girlfriend. It was a pretty rough time, and I just had less and less time to myself and for the things I loved doing. One day, I looked up and realized I hadn't been around here in a long, long time... I wasn't sure what you guys would think of me by then, and I guess I figured you'd be pissed that I hadn't delivered on my end of things for the single player portion of the mod. I was pretty embarrassed, and handled it wrong.

First and foremost... I never, ever, meant to ever give the impression that I had been hurt. While Hawaii is plagued by disasters of all shapes and sizes, I'm a hardy beast and our island rarely gets anything worse than a heavy rain now and then. Oahu's pretty safe, it's the Big Island that gets hammered.

I understand if you guys are pissed. I think I might be too. But know that you guys are some of the best people I've met in a long time, and I miss you all. Every day I look through my folders I see the story I began so long ago, and it kills me that I didn't finish it for you all.

...I can't tell you how good it made me feel to see that email from Lara. All I can say now is I'm sorry.

If you check out the thread you made you'll see people were actually worried about you more than anything else.

Hey Uwa, I was beginning to think they sacrificed you to some obscure gods in the volcano of the main island there ;D

But actually, Lara´s last post in "Survival" got me thinking. The last thing I remember hearing from you was about you loosing your house to some ... less-than-nice landlord and something about an earthquake. And then you were gone.

Since I didn´t contribute to this community more than some beta map testing I´m not in the position to give you absolution regarding the single player topic. Mostly because I don´t even know what you vowed to do about it .

Anyway, let me be the second in line to welcome you back in the forums. Can´t write much more now, I´m at work and I´m beginning to receive strange looks for not working. I´m pretty sure everyone else will welcome you back with open arms, too.

Its really good to seee you here again. Because before I took a little time out the forum was rules by the Kings: Alex, Pix,Abyx,ZombieButcher and you.
When I joint the community again 2 weeks ago I firstly got a shock. ZB got Banned, XPC vanished(and i also saw nearly no members of it) , no words from Alex,faust was gone and you were away too. But it seems my first impression was wrong: I met Laramee yesterday (yay ) you are here again and The Community updates KF.

Its good to see you back again. And now: Complete the F*cking story !! xD

The community patch is coming soon(tm), ZB pulled a michael richards and is either banned or just doesn't come along anymore. I've got another lost chapter or two in the works(perhaps a prequel, showing the team member who wolf replaced dying), but I can't seem to make it not suck. There are a couple maps coming out that look pretty cool, too. Bioshock is gonna be awesome, as is devil may cry 4, and other such things. Oh, and I'm apparently the new moo.

Also, I challenge you to a story-off. Whoever finishes a chapter first wins. What's the prize?
