This is so unbelievable it already makes me laugh again. The harddrive gone, with all your work on it. Not only Killing Floor but other projects and propably some private stuff, too. Crashed for no reason... See above.
Well, Alex, if you ever decide to continue working on Killing Floor either from scratch or by trying the freezer method of harddrive recovery, I´m sure the community will still stand in one way or another, ready to welcome you back.

So now we have a dilemma. What do we do? Keep playing, keep fixing, or try to find someone to take up the mantle of developer? Fraser's insensitive but right, we don't have a huge community... but that doesn't mean we're done for. Any ideas people? Constructive ones, I mean.

I don't know how far faust's coding skills extend, but I'm sure if alex emailed his instructions to him he could try and make it happen. And there was one guy who said he could skin models, and I'm okish in maya and photoshop. This difficult with this approach is keeping killing floor the way it's meant to be. An original not a transcription if you get my meaning.
EDIT: damn, you posted while I was typing.. guess we thought the same thing.
