So is this true, do the specimens now turn their heads towards the player they are attacking? If so then WOW, that will be sooo freaky, it will really help with the atmosphere. Man I cant wait for the patch.

Hm ... Well, did you tested that thing with 2 or more players standing near each other already? I guess its fun to see zombies shaking their heads left and right all the time - Not good but funny.

The proces is based on what the kfmonstercontroller has recognised as the primary target at this moment (the var-name is Enemy). This is not being altered until the function FindNewEnemy() is called and that does only happen if 1) the path towards the enemy is blocked and the zed sees no way get to his enemy 2) the enemy is dead or 3) the zed gets a substantial amount of damage from an enemy unlike his primary target. The doCharge() function is then called and the zed won't be able to change his enemy until out of the charge-state.
So No, the zeds are not shaking their heads from left to right all the time, and Yes, I already tested this with 2 or more people.
The only flaw I see right now is that the left-right turn of the heads is slightly off but you are still in their field of view so that's not really what I consider a problem. Besides, I fucking hate vector-maths and don't want to dive deeper into it.

From what I know about UT2004 Invasion, the enemies will lock onto a particular player and will concentrate the attack on them, have U ever seen this in KF where zombies will walk straight past you to get to another player? This is where the zombies looking will take place, they wont continuously shake their heads but will look at the player they are attacking?
Can anyone else elaborate on this?

Gonna love the new patch...
On another note, Caesar and I cleared Swamp with the (mostly) modified waves... just didn't have 18... I think we messed up on the ini... but we were proud!
