I am having alot of trouble downloading Killing Floor demo... The first one gives the World of Warcraft movie, the second one leaves me forever in-line to download. I found the link in this thread which did work, but I guess you won't put that on the main page. Maybe it's a good idea to also mirror it on beyondunreal.com.

I got a chance to play the 4am demo which had a few probs w/ the menu but was playable. Got the new demo everything starts and plays fine but it seems like certain tex aren't transparent in this version. The only vid changes I've made were changing detail from high/veryhigh to normal. I didn't get this in the 4am version unrealspvault.org/xtrnl/Shot00016.jpgunrealspvault.org/xtrnl/Shot00017.jpg

....the hell...? Once again, does anyone else have this problem? I havne't had it....
1. Do you have the latest version of UT2004? 2. Did you delete every stitch of old stuff before downloading the new stuff?
@nightcast:
There is no .exe in the system folder, there's a .lnk, that's the shortcut extension.

can anyone tell me how to get this to work? I do everything that it says to do on the download page but when i click on Killing Floor Demo.lnk nothing happens. I tried just loading the map with UT2K4 as well but that didn't work either.

Do this
Change the Ink shortcut from
C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=KFMod
TO
C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=KFDemo
and when i say C:\ im assuming you're wise enough to realize im talking about whatever root directory your game is installed to
This fix should solve your issue.

you can open UT2004, select community, and user mods, then select it to run it. Or u can open the properties of the shortcut in the system folder, and manually change it to -mod=KFdemo instead of KFmod

the root directory is where your UT2004.exe is.
In other words, most installations use C:/UT2004/System/UT2004.exe, because that is the default install place, but it could also be on another drive or in a different folder depending where you installed UT2004

*grins* I think I detected sarcasm on his voice. Alex's thing uses the G drive. How weird is that?
