some maps doesn't work

there some maps that doesn't work for me...like kf-train kf-nightfall and all of that...can you please say me why it doesn't work?
(I don't know if this goes to map or to troubleshooting)

You probably didn't install them right...

They go into your Killing Floor maps folder.

I see you do not know english much so I will try and not use slang or shortened words. Nor do I know any of the languages of the countries mentioned under your avatar.

Lets see here. Maps do not show in UT map menu when UT(or killing floor) cannot find the map or anything the maps needs to run(like a texture file *.utx for example killingfloortextures.utx).


File extension is the 3 letter after file name like *.exe or *.bmp

For any killing floor stuff you download this is what you do with the files you got.

*.ut2 go in ..\KFMod20\Maps
*.utx go in ..\KFMod20\Textures
*.usx go in ..\KFMod20\StaticMeshes
*.ogg go in ..\KFMod20\Music
*.uax go in ..\KFMod20\Sounds

try figuring it out. Other than that maybe you need to reinstall the UT2k4 ECE bonus pack.

Pictures tell a thousand words they say. If he still doesn't understand(English is hard to learn I hear!), then maybe a handy animated .gif, or just a slideshow of pics guiding him through.

If its only KF-Train and Nightfall, its probably because you didn't install the UT bonus pack. Both those maps use UT2k4 textures and meshes. If your missing any of those textures or meshes, the maps won't show up or start.

Or, the maps use amboutside.uax, and that file wasn't included in the downloads. maybe.
