The map will show up if you're missing the sound file, it has for me, many times. and I didn't have it for a while.
Also, these maps are for 2.0, make sure you have 2.0, not 1.0, cause, they use stuff from 2.0's directory, and all that, not 1.0
Only other thing I can think of, would be the thing Kyben said about that patch.
