To be honest with you all, the new office strategy is more of a glitch win than anything. The specimens dont really attempt to break the door, and then people just axe through the wooden walls to kill them. This strategy makes the game easy and come on dont deny it, BORING. All it needs is 3 players, the other 3 tend to just camp on the roof.
I really do hope this glitch is fixes in 2.5, this is a survival horror game, I want to experience the survival horror feeling, not just sit there on the roof whilst some sad fuck gloats how much money he has earned, SAD!

I preferred the old style tactic of three on each spawn and moving downwards when things start hotting up. I think there is more of a feel of teamwork than just holing up in a corridor!

I agree with Antigod and Max, buy every time I use the old strategy from the 2.1 days I’m always left alone as they all go to roof area, plus I never knew that holding the roof area was a glitch, I'll modify the strategy I’ve put up saying this is a small glitch holding roof area with the specimens don’t really attempt to break the door. I’ve always found the old strategy more challenging and fun.
Thanks for bringing it too my attention Antigod.

Killing floor Tactics! Map: Office
Old style strategy of Office map
Once all the essentials have been bought from trader, Split up into 2 groups, 3 players per group and hold the areas just past the trader, up at the stairs entrance, which leads to 3rd level of building, and hold the room where there are computer workstations, normally holding where the exit sign is(these will be the spawning points) . Now when the amount of specimens gets too much for you’re group to handle, the main escape route is to fall back to the player’s spawn point via the staircase, defending as you go, always allowing a player to call the lift for your team, so you can then regroup at the roof.
From this point it was just a process of retaking the fallen ground that you have lost and at the end of the wave, hold the same positions again and try again.
So the basically the main point of this strategy is to hold at each spawn point, three players on the spawn’s and start moving downwards when things get to overrun at each specimens spawn’s point.
The strategy about holding the roof area is in fact is a glitch (only just found out via Antigod). The specimens don’t really attempt to break the door, and then people just axe through the wooden walls to kill them.
So I’d advice to using the old style strategy as it's more of a fight for your life.
