misty-smokey effect is fucked

awsome mod. after having seen the mist effect work nice after tweeking about in the preffs' on resuming the single player mission after dying its all fucked up again' ive restored-tweeked about ect and im stuck with the foggy effect looking quite like the cut out filter in photoshop' if anyone knows a fix-console command ect that could work id love to know.
im running kf.1 on a 12 inch 1.5 powerbook
