as in, there isnt any game types to create a server -.- this isnt a game bug as such, its a i was editing ini files and probably deleted something and screwed it up bug -_- tried deleting kfuser + kfmod ini, nothing fixed when it created them again tried replacing them with ones from the patch (which is probably what farked it in the first place ) checked to make sure by getting replacements from a friend that it wasnt the kf default + defuser and so, its fecked. no map play testing anymore -.-

KFMod.KFGametype While the details aren't complete the wiki server guide is enough to get started. Though it does bug me not knowing how you're trying to create a server, why you would even need the gametype since it's not really necessary in the cmd line. I just use it out of habbit.

oh, i meant just from inside KF, create a server to test out maps, listen server.
but when i click create server, there isnt a gametype to click on (survival presumably, cant remember) to continue with the creation

Ewww, sounds like you borked your KF install real good Grex. I'd say your best bet(well easiest anyway) is to back up your custom maps and .ini's, delete the KF20mod folder, do a fresh install of KF2, patch it up to 2.01 then add the maps back in. Once thats done, run KF to make sure it works. Then you can c'n'p back in what you want changed in the ini's from the copies you made of your current ones(name, binds, server info, etc.), but be mindful of what sections you edit.

fixed it, turns out i did still have the install for kf ;D so didnt ahve to download it again, phew
i'd deleted one of the ucl files apparently
and it didnt like that -.-
replaced, fixed, yay
