I have: *Killing floor 2.0 and updated it to 2.1 *ut2004: i have installed the mega pack, wich contains the ecepack and the latest update(3369) *XFIRE The problem: I open XFIRE and search for kf servers, i find like 3 or so...when i join in one of them, it opens the ut2004 startscreen and goes to a black screen where it says connecting or something...then it starts to download the map the server is playin, i mean kf-bioticslab or whatever, when it finishes it starts downloading the textures, etc...but all these files are already inside the KFMod20 folder...and are being downloaded to the ut2004 folder(maps folder, textures folder, ect) !!! Is this normal? Any1 had this problem? How do i fix this? pls help, i wanna join and play this mod, coz it seems to be the best zombie mod out there!!!

Well have you tried not using Xfire to find servers and using the default server browser?

It could be that xFire only supports unpatched servers.

Until XFire adds Killing Floor as a supported game, you won't be able to launch KF directly from the xfire window. You could try opening the xfire games ini and change ut2004's launch settings to load KF with the -mod=KF20 modifier. Now, I would NOT suggest doing that unless you know what your doing and can change it back. The best thing to do in the mean time is just load KF and use the ingame browser to find servers.

Yo, thx! I just had to use xfire to find the servers, copy the ip adress and use it in the game browser to join the servers...it's not practical, but...who cares lol, the mod kicks ass by the way!
