I double-click the mod RunKF.bat thing then it has the intro picture then it crashes saying (cannot spawn GUI controller )please help me someone  |

Well, first of all: What is your system like ? Operating system, graphics card ?

Now there is a Runtime error it says it shuts it's self down.

install 3369, install ECE and then install 3369 again. Zynth forgot the first 3369.  |

Hi all! Too lazy to introduce myself so ill just skip that and start with a question concerning the .bat file Well... Basiclly when i "double-click" it, the "loading screen" appears(which was kinda awesome) but then i get this warning sign: *********************************************************' Runtime error Program: C:\Program\UT2004\system\UT2004.exe This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information *********************************************************** And thats where i contacted you guys I would guess its because my UT2k4 isnt installed directly in my C: drive, meaning the mod cant find the .exe it so badly needs. If thats not the problem then whats up? Guys? forget this, i think i know the problem and ill try and fix it when i get home...last night my ut2004 stopped working and ill have to reinstall everything, so hopefully i can play tonight |

I have to say... 'terminate in an unusual way' is probably the funniest sounding error message I've ever seen... like 'rodents of unusual size'.

k, maybe I give ppl more credit but ECE will refuse to install on anything less than 3339. So I figure if you get this message that says "you need to apply this patch before I'm going to install" that's pretty straight to the point in my book.
Was written into the wiki/intallation as a courtesy/roadmap so ppl can follow along exactely how it should be installed. I'm sure it would work quite well if ppl actually read it.

Zynth, you do notice that "if" in there though... we need to sticky the basic instructions for fixing these issues I think. |

You mean something like making a 90 question open-wiki test on how to install and update 2k4 before allowing users to post?
