Alright, we were having a fantastic time in the new patch, getting our asses eaten left and right (that really did come off wrong, didn't it?), and by luck found a couple of nasty exploits.
1_ Specimens doesn't seem to break the first metal door down the stairs to the armory (that is, the double doors in the upper end of the stairs).
2_ In the other stairs, the ones with Sector 6 controls written above 'em, it is possible to jump on the handrails/pipes along the path with a well-done Shotgun-Jump. From that position you cannot be hit by any kind of specimens except for the random lucky crawler.
Now, if you excuse me, I'll go back to wasting lead on poor zombies.

I can hax like a starved rabid monkey on PCP with an axe glued to his face, after all the zombies have been splattered with bananas. Picture the scene. Now, while point 2 can be considered a minor exploit, not really worth remaking and re-downloading the map for, 1 can be seen as a loophole in the "enemies not beating doors down" fix. Besides making the map too easy to beat.

Another exploit I've found there is in the room by the shop, if you have someone and later on 2 people, keeping the door welded, you can get on top of the machines in there and pick off the specimens through the window and not be attacked. This also works to clear out one of the stairwells before the door gets knocked down.

The window is buggy, that much was known... and abused... :\
The top door, you're right about that for the most part... they always break the lower, and only sometimes come through the top... makes for some awesome screenshots of the 100+ specimen clog that forms... check my SS threads...
And... shotgun jump? You can do that with the shotgun?

And... shotgun jump? You can do that with the shotgun? indeed, because i was the one doing it ;D was picking off the sirens with winchester, occasional pound bouncing on other things would hit me, since they were all sitting under me eventually died when too many sirens, needed to reload. jumped off and died from fall, lol even with normal shotty you can do it, originally i bounced on someones head and landed up there and was o.O

*Zearoth: @1: I just ran a server and tested this and it works fine for me :S they break through every door on that map like an axe through a zombie and then charge down and slay anything in their path. Maybe only happens every now and then? @2: Never done personally but that could be a real pain in the neck if someone keeps exploiting it. *Alphawolf: This is old I was told it would be fixed in the next version via a PM but it never was. On my server we destroy every destructable in that area so that people cant exploit it ^^. But it really needs fixing! You can however die from being spat on or that screaming zombie (god damn I still havent got the names lodged in my brain ) *KF-Swamp Although not an official map, its still a decent map. The only bug I could find (only played twice) was that you could jump onto the van at the spawn and get over it. Hence you could kill, kill, crowd surf, kill and still be alive. You can also run along the fence to get around. *Other maps. Theres a few, but I cannot remember them :S not major however and we have a no glitch using server (you get warned).

It would help if you were to add these to the list of Various Map Exploits displayed at the top of this board, instead of having people, and devs, search through the forums.

The door only stops breaking if you weld the top, then go down to the bottom, and weld that door too, only about 10% of the time they'll break the top door. My guess it's a pathing issue tthat causes them not to notice the door. Since if you're close, they have a target, and then see the door, but if you're too far away, they don't notice and don't have any pathing to tell them what to do. So they just sit, and have a group hug.
