Random Gametype Idea

My brother and his friends play this obsessively in halo 2- they get it so that they all have swords and shotguns. The guys with shotguns are all on one team and the guys with swords are all on the other. When a melee guy kills a shotgun guy, the shotgun guy switches teams and pulls out his sword. The game ends (in a manner of speaking), when there's only one shotgun guy left. He gets bragging rights for a moment, and then everyone switches weapons so that he's the new swordguy. They call the game "Zombie".

So, you know, you've got the basic gameplay essentials in, how about it? Could be rather fun.

Never play that mode b4 but sounds kind of cool ( don't own a Xbox so no halo 2 for me) but i'm guessing this mod trying to do new things not try to copy other games modes. The more different it is from other games the better if you ask me but i'm sure there already some great new modes in this mod ;D

Eh, that mode isn't in Halo, it's just a patched-together framework of a gametype that my brother's friend thought of, and the way they play it, it kinda runs on the honor system.

hey but melee vs ranged works well. Just look at Natural Selection for HL

how about a old school sof death rise to the top

you start with a rocket launcher you have to try and frag somebody you do that with ease,

you get the crossbow you peg some one with more ease

you get a winchester ...some one got too close

you get bull pup ..MEDIC

you get handcannon bang bang

chainsaw , splat

knife , its a little hard


and so for every frag you get your wep gets crapper until youv got the crappest,
and if you put a limit on how many lives you have its buisness..confusing yes, fun ja.

once your the remaining one every starts as a zombie (depending on how far they got they improve class egs.clot= still on rocket launcher or winchester gorefast = chainsaw and knife)

then remaining person gets all weps and has to survive, oh and limited lives still count

even too zombies.

if you survive boomba you win and you receive the ability to suggest a map or something

I played Zombies before, it was pretty fun
