Ok, I start up kf2, the logo screen goes by but the menu doesn't show up! I can still hear the music, the console still works too. No error screens or anything. What could be wrong?

Any errors with the menu can be fixed immediately by pressing Escape and selecting either reconnect or MainMenu

I fixed it... Your menu wouldn't show up because of my ATI mod, to fix it I just had to change the LocalMap back to NvidiaLogo.ut2.
Now I get to play KF2.00!

Fuck, no I don't. I've got another bug:

Failed to load 'BonusPack': Can't find file for package 'MutantSkins'
History: UObject::SafeLoadError <- UObject::GetPackageLinker <- UGameEngine::BuildServerMasterMap <- ULevel::Listen <- Listen <- UGameEngine::LoadMap <- LocalMapURL <- UGameEngine::Browse <- ClientTravel <- UGameEngine::Tick <- Level KF-BioticsLab <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Realloc <- 10910191 0 FArray <- FArray::Realloc <- 0*2 <- FMallocWindows::Free
I've already reinstalled ece and the 3369 patch.
I get this when I try and start a server.

This might not work, but we had a simular problem with the beta.
Open your INI file and look around for 'Bonus Pack' or 'Mutantskins' if there's a line in there that's trying to load either or both of them. Erase it and save it.
Note: Backup your INI before hand.

Abyx, I wouldn't suggest that, at least I'm not going to do it again. I was having a problem running a server due to it not being able to load up a file called 'ballistic.' So I went looking for it in my ini file and found it, took it out and saved. I made a backup though and good thing I did. But then when I tried to start the game up I got a 'invalid CD key, blah blah blah reinstall the game' or something like that, all I know is it said my CD key was invalid and it wouldn't run. So I replaced the new ini with the old and it worked again. So it seems that messing with the ini makes the game think that your CD key is invalid. That reminds me, that other guy was having a 'invalid CD key' problem, maybe he messed with his ini file. I'll have to post there.

I didn't say it'd work, I said it MIGHT work.

I didn't say it'd work, I said it MIGHT work. Oh well. Just don't mess with the ini, it could make your game think your CD key is invalid. But if you do, make sure you make a backup ini first.

Why do you think I added a 'Note: Backup your INI beforehand'? You stole the idea from my head, maybe? Are you an evil monkey ninja here to steal my perfect ideas and plans!? Na, i'm just being stupid and goofy there, umm but I never said you were wrong on telling him to make a backup, sooo eh?

Mutantskins(.utx) is a retail ut2004 tex package. If you change the localmap to KF-Menu.ut2 in ut2004\kfmod20\system\kfmod20.ini you should go straight to the menu when starting KF.
