Invalad CD Key error...why?

What's up?! I finally downloaded KF 2.0 but it won't let me play it cause it keeps saying my cd key's invalad....well UT2004 runs fine with it....so do the other 2 mods I have for UT2004 (FragOps and SAS:Into the Lions Den) Why is this the only mod saying that my cd key's invalad?

Try moving the defUser or KFMod20user. ini files from your KFmod20/System folder somewhere else, and seeing if that makes a difference.

I just tried still the same thing.though when I looked in the system folder that ALL of the ini files are let's say...incomplete....Think moving all the ini files would help? Or anything else like maybe the filefront mirror itself?

erm between you and the community unreal serial keys are not unique sooooooooo thus you can borrow a friends and it won't make a difference but shhhhhhhhh

lol oh that i've already known.just it's odd cause the other mods I have run fine with the cd key i'm using BUT KF2.0 is the only mod saying it's invalad and I'm starting to think laura took my cd key j/k seriously though,the only option I have is download from another mirror (I downloaded from filefront like mentioned above) and filefront has on certan occasions put up zips and exes that were compleatly fine when they were sent then when someone downloads it,one of the files is corrupted inside.Its either that option or whoring my computer out to 50 fat women for 1 dollar each.....what?..... lol

ohhhhh...it's in my maps folder why you ask zynth?btw I just remembered I had this problem with my previous (5th time reinstalling ut2004) installment of ut2004 with some mods that supported the new mod system.with unwheel i moved all the file from the mod's folders to ut2004's folders and it worked fine.Highly doubt that would help with this but i'm only gonna try that as a last resort for this mod but just figured i should point that out just in case

Figured that would,which is why I didn't do it yet.It's just getting the mod to work for me that's the only problem I have atm.I just don't get why the engien's saying that my cd-key is invalad JUST FOR THIS MOD when I have acouple other mods including ChaosUT2 and they work perfectly fine?Did UT2004 loose it's ticket to the logic train?Or does my computer like messing with my head? and also I just remembered that I didn't download it from File Front,I downloaded it from the KF site.

Yes, of course it's in a maps folder. Just like living in Springfield makes me easy to find.
The direction I'm going in is the cause of most invalid cd key messages is usually mod files installed in 2k4 folders. If your ut2004\KFMod20 dir isn't ~385mb, nuke it and reinstall.
If KF-*.ut2 or any other KF files are found anywhere except UT2004\KFMod20\Maps then you can either weed out all the KF files and delete them or nuke the entire 2k4 dir and reinstall everything.

It says this on KF 2.0 only (only just said today).
