Runtime Error

I've run into an issue as depicted below...


I'm not sure why this error has occurred because I've followed the directions stated in the Installation Post.

Installed Game Files:
UT2k4 Installed
UT2004-winpatch3369.exe == Game Patched
UT2004-ECEBonusPack1-1.exe == Installed
Killing Floor Mod == Installed

Is there something beyond the installation that has to happen? Could the installation of another patch regarding Windows or Direct X be necessary?

Currently Running:
WinXP Pro
(5.1, Build 2600) SP2
DX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Intel P4 3.2GHz
2GB RAM
Nvidia 6200GT 128MB
(Nvidia Driver 8.1.9.8)

Per this post and running through a few different posts I think I may have answered my own question, but I think a developer or a troubleshooting team may want to look at this.

Per the instructions in the installation:

"Make sure to have the Bonus Pack installed and to also have the latest version of UT2k4 installed."
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-==-=-=-


I followed those directions, but noted that in the thread for another error someone had stated--

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-==-=-=-
Insure that the ECE Bonus Pack is installed "BEFORE" the patch, as the patch also updates some files from that Bonus Pack.

I'm not sure if that will help anyone in their installation, but it has gotten mine working now.

I hope this can be some form of contribution in making any changes to the "Install Instructions" for the community.

Thanks! We'll definately make things much clearer in the up-and-coming 2.0 release, and try and make things clearer all round.

yea, its 2.0 time and its still not working

This is outlined in th install guide on the wiki. 1.0 version still applies as it's the same install method.
ECE will not install on unpatched 2k4. From a fresh install patch, ece, patch again, then blame epic.
