I've recently seen people use the translocator from the original UT2K4. Not quite sure if this qua;ifies as a bug though.
Either way, it's rather annoying and defeats the purpose of traveling by foot.

Was this one one server? As it's a gametype setting that decides whether or not you have a transloc available. Should've been disabled explicitly in gametype script..  |

Yep, I know the culprit...(me) I only do it when there's plenty of people playing in other servers and i don't want to join any of them. People don't have to join if they don't want to (as i said there's plenty other choices) and it's really just something to mess around and have fun with... Anyways, If your not talking about my server, all that stuff i just said was a lie  |

Would be a big help if it did  - it doesn't though... It just helps gettin' around the maps and finding good fighting spots easier. |

I hope this is disabled promptly; it defeats the purpose of the game. If you're getting gangbanged by 6 zombies, you shouldn't be able to spiderman out of it.

:$  I admit it is very cheesy to trans ontop of a building and blast zombies till you run out of ammo and either respect the villian and go get more or be l337 and script some more, but seriously the zombies find ways of still eating your ass out if you used reg trans u only got 6 hops and it isn't enough ever haha I was impressed with the AI path node setup thingy for all of the survival maps they end up getting your ass in a corner and hacking the piss out of you until the screen tears and you can't even tell your being hit anymore, and if there is one thing I am kinda good at it's running the frig away from crap thats trying to kill me, alas your realism with damage taken modifying your speed is just ownage.  |

I'm glad that bug is gone.. it was worst in Manor where you could trans on top of the rocks or even out of the map

theres realy no point in getting a translocator wen all u need to do is 1 do the money glitch and buy a law full health and armor 2 aim as low as posibal make shure its not at ur feet or u will go kaboom and 3 shoot and jump at same time and it will lift u in to the air a thew more inches i have got out of manor this way and over maps and also found good places to camp

He does bring up a good point, though: have steps been taken in 2.0 to prevent people from rocket-jumping somewhere the zombies couldn't get to? While I can't imagine why someone would try and turn this into a game of fish in a barrel, people do tend to do it.
