im getting gliches with the mist-smoke effects

im running the mod on 12inch g4 1.5 powerbook.
after spending a bit of time getting the mod to run, i started the single player mission' which i have to say looks and feels amazing apart from the misty-smokey effect which looked very blocky
almost like the cut out filter effect in photoshop, after tweeking around with the various graphics settings i saw what the misty effect should look like, and its great but on dying and starting the from the last save point it looked all blocky again' so back to the graphic settings to sort it out' only now i seem to be stuck with it looking all shabby, ive restoring back to defaut settings ect but with no luck, if anyone has any suggestions or knows of a fix-update for version 1 that would be cool. thx . forgot to mention im also getting the white screen glitch when i get hit, ha" makes this game sound like a chris cunningham video. if i can get KF.2 to run well enough it might just inspire me to get a legit version of unreal' which plays really well on my little powerbook.

Update your graphics drivers, lower the graphics settings, raise the graphics settings. Update all your drivers
