these are the facts

- Unreal Tournament 3 has been released
- I have a total conversion in development with this engine
- Killing Floor's 2.5 release is being developed contemporaneously.
- It *will* be released before i move into developing Depth exclusively.

DO NOT make posts whining about whether Killing Floor is going to be "abandoned" or whether the patch will see the light of day. It will, because I have done alot of work on it, and I wouldn't want that work to go to waste. Once 2.5 is done, I am moving on to Depth. It's not because I hate Killing Floor, or because I'm a mean, nasty person. It's because I have ambitions on a new engine, with new subject matter. Deal with it.

Christ, you'd think a mod would be release and go, but sometimes i feel like a fly by night father forced into paying child support

The news for you KF fans? KF 2.5 will be a very big improvement on 2.1 You will enjoy the changes, guaranteed. And if you get bored of KF after that, there's always my new project to check out. It will be something fresh.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE WONDERING

Killing Floor 2.5 is a STAND-ALONE release. you will not need ANY of the prior patches, or content. It will be a single download that overwrites everything else you had.

errr, KF is based on UE2.5 not UE3, so KF wont work on PS3 or Xbox360!

But yes I agree, its definately a step in the right direction, we'll have to see how its pulled off first though.

The 2.11 beta was buggy because it was released before I tested it!
