Hi. I'm trying to edit some kF maps and I've got 0 experience with Unreal Editor and quite some experience with 3DStudio Max.
After many hours I've manage to learn some stuffs in the editor. However there's some questions that I need help coz i'm totally stuck.
1) I edited a map, moving the shops, addind static mesh, movers and all that , all without deleting those APPLES ( pathnodes I believe). Somehow, after that the zombie likes to walk around for no reasons and only about 20% of them actually get to me. I believe it had something to do with those apples, coz I moved some of them. What can I do to edit those pathnodes, or how do i edit them. ( step by step instructions?)
2) I read the help on KF in creating map, but I can't find a way to add KFTraderDoor mover. There's only add mover button. How do I go about browsing the mover that I want to add?

First off, the apples are pathnodes, you are correct on that. Secondly, after you move them, or delete one or two, a link between all of them are broken. You have to rebuild them, uptop it should say "Build > Build Path" might take a bit, but' that should fix it.
Secondly, if the KFTraderDoor isn't in there, make sure you're using the KF version of the editor. Go into the KF Directory and load up RunKF_Ed.bat
Lemme know if that helps.

Right click the add mover button, left click adds a normal mover, with right click you can add mover types.
Also, in "view" you can select "view paths" so you can see what pathnodes are linked together
Some basic info on them: 1* Pathnodes should be able to have a line of sight with each other , (If one is around a corner it won't create a path between them)
2* Pathnodes should be within 50 and 750 UU from eachother (Unreal Units, the size used in UED, The basic cube brush is 256 UU)
3* Look at the lines in "Show paths". No line means the bots (or zombies) won't find their way from one node to the other, Red lines means they will take them less often, Blue lines means they are good, Green lines are perfect
