These are the KF forums. not ballistic weapons. While I'm glad you enjoy using the mod --> (and I did too, actually) Your comments come across as abit tactless because they imply that the current KF weaponset is in some way inadequate.

Truth is, I designed those weapons to be used agains the enemies I also designed. you want to mix and match? Cool. But it's not what KF is really all about, and it's not the prevailing attitude among Killing Floor players.

if ya play the KF game, and fight the KF enemies, use the KF weapons. Otherwise it's not really Killing Floor.

Ill admit that KF with BW weaponry is really fun but it doesn't feel the same since BW weapons have a very sleek and clean look not at all like the KF weapons. For everyones information I love the KF weapons look...just to clear that above sentence up.

Ok, yeah.

So a Flamethrower sounds like it fits the theme. Also a throwable knife. Maybe another kind or two of pistol for some variety, throw in an assortment of junk aside from that one lonely pipe to use against them and you have an expanded Killing Floor.
I totally agree with Alex, mutators fuck with KF real bad, I've tried them and its dogshit - completely messes with the game. Tried instagib once and spawned with no weapons at all. Yeah I survived long that round lol.
But speaking of Ballistic Weapons, what I was referring to with the release of new weapons is kind of what Runestorm does with their mod - over time they gradually release more content in the form of downloads, such as a new kind of gun or grenade for you to download. That is the kind of thing that would go well with Killing Floor.
Because it makes sense that different kinds of weapons will be discovered throughout London and the surrounding area as time goes on.
Here's a list of additions that I could seriously see in Killing Floor should a decent coder attempt to emplace them.

*Landmine or claymore
*Flamethrower
*Pistol with a laser sight
*New type of Automatic-assault rifle
*Bolt action Sniper Rifle
*Box-fed Light Machine Gun (Kinda like an MG42)
*Baseball Bat
*A brick?
*Wooden Plank
*The ability to throw knives (All but last one, which stays as a last line of defense)
*Maybe you can think of some other junk to pick up and bash them with. lol.

I suggested a Bolt action sniper rifle awhile ago, almost everyone thought it would be a good idea. So yea sniper rifle is definitely on the top of the list for me.

I for one say BW shouldn't be banned, its not like skins where it can ruin peoples experience on a server. Most BW's are on listen servers and people playing by themselves or with friends.
If they wanna play with BW let them play with BW damn it.

I don't play it myself, so I'm not gunna fight for it really, just my opinion.

Also, chainsaw? Not much of a selection for melee weapons and theres no pro's and con's like guns. Axe beats all, period.

And I'm not much of a fan of a bizzillion new weapons. And the knife you start off with...Really wouldn't be very easy to throw, those things aren't really meant to be thrown. But....It'd be much more fun to have zombies grab you and a special action where you stab the knife through their heads! *rolls eyes* yeah, like that'd be easy to code

Well, even if these knifes aren´t meant to be thrown... it would be pretty cool. A lot of times I´ve found myself left without ammo facing a horde of specimen and all that I had left was this knife. A knife. Against 30+ biting, spitting, mauling genetic experiments who also had a very bad day. In other words: I knew I was going down. But all the time I had the very same thought: How I´d like to throw this knife into the face of that big zombie over there before all these smaller ones pummel me to death.

But maybe that´s just me.

Although KF isn't a realistic game, trust me, throwing that knife(Heavy, and heavy knives are hard to control like that) is something that'd require training and I don't think that's something that the DRF Soldiers do.

I'm pretty sure they don't get training with flamethrowers.

What would be cool is if you could drop stock weapons ( combat knife, 9mm ) for extra space. Making room for a replacement / better handgun or melee weapon, like the handcannon and axe for example.
