Hi!
I am grateful for the fact that Friendly Fire (FF) is disabled by default, but my team wanted it to be more "realistic". (We had this hilarious debate afterwards.)
Anyway, is there a way for me to add an option to the Game/Server Rules Menu that allows me to turn FF on and off?
Or ,at least, how do I make a mutator that enables FF? I have zero experience in modding!

One of the newest features of patch 2.11 is spectator "poking". Specatators can *poke* the still-alive players, for a little damage. This got abused by its beta-testers, and FF was hardcode disabled. We are all waiting for patch 2.12 to fix this. Sorry for any inconvenience.

there is going to be a 2.12 patch? (i know im new here) i read somewere that 2.11 was the last version but oh well nvm

Give it time friend.
Besides, we've had long, painful discussions of the ramifications of FF in the past... it really wouldn't be that great of an idea, seeing as how the game is horrifyingly unfair as it is... lol.

U may be waiting a long time, I dont think a new patch is in development now. But you never know, word on the street is that Alex himself is making a new game mode for KF, so I assume this would be released in patch form, if this happens I wonder what else would be added/fixed?

There is currently no intentions to start a KF 2.12, or any patch. At least from us (being Abyx, Kyben and myself).

Thanks for putting an end to the KF2.12 rumours, always best to hear these things from a leads mouth. However have you got any updates on Alex's gamemode? How's it coming along, is it actually still in development? What about the Singleplayer map that you guys released, are you not going to continue development on this, or is the Beta pretty much it? **EDIT** Ah, you basically answered my question about Alex's progress here mrkadish.proboards40.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1188639103However can you still shed any light on the 2nd part, the single player map?

The Singleplayer is all Corey's thing really, I think he's personally waiting for Alex to finish the mode to start up on it again, as for Alex's progress, I don't know it, I'm assuming he stopped. I'll point Corey to this and he can answer more officially for you.

Don't hold your breath. I can't officially speak either for its Alex with the 2.12. He said He'd be busy for a week... 3 weeks later, he's still away.
To the Singleplayer, I honestly find it a mess and always have. It took alot of work to make that beta, and will take tons more to finish it. Unless I find a burning desire to finish it, I probably won't. Sorry.
