I am having a problem with making a server. I have a Linksys Router and when I dedicate it it goes but I can't even go on it. When I download that server thing it screw's up the killing floor mod. And when I go to get that server key it shows nothing and I don't even get an E-Mail of it. How can I get my server up I would like to help out and get more people to join.

A dedi server key? So the explaination "fill out this form and we'll send you a key" sucks? I cant see how it can be any simpler, just use a valid address. unreal.epicgames.com/ut2004server/cdkey.phpIf you dont have a valid key the server isnt going to show in the list. If you're connecting to the server from the lan you'll need to join via lan, not internet. If you can't connect to it via lan then the app is probably firewalled on the server, nothing to do with the router.

Me, and Lara didn't recieve any emails, and I used 3 vaild email addresses....and I tried it out on Opera9, Firefox and IE 7. Try using your own ut2k4 installation + CD key. You are allowed to host and play with the same CD Key. It may have been a temporary problem, and might be fixed now...

wtf The standalone server is stand alone. Install into it's own directory not anywhere in the UT2004 path. Install KF onto the server just as you would the game.
for example, if your server dir is C:\UT2004Server extract KF into C:\UT2004Server Though if you have a retail version it's pretty pointless to install a standalone on the same comp. I have a dedi box on my lan running a multitude of different server apps. UT2004Standalone is installed because no one is ever going to play the game from that box.
