Inspiration?

here is what i think of silent hill one ....

part 1: you follow this little shit head who doesnt like you...then you get attacked by these little skin heads with knives all you can do is slap them on the head till you die....

part 2 : the police officer gives you something ...what i wasnt listen you go into the cafe cos ur hungry...these mean little bastards burst in cos they are hungry too and decide to have you for dinner....dead AGAIN

part 3: you get a big welding mallet WOOHOO uh oh...this mean lean bird shitting machine flyes from the darkness and you try to pegg it with your over grown thors hammer.
it does a bird crap combo attack and totaly kills you ...all dead.

part 4 : i dont know im sick of being attacked, and im realy hungry i dont give a shit about that little girl, im going home.

well that was fun

now the graphics for silent hill are instantly put back where they came from.

So does anyone know which game came up the ultra grime look??? ???Just curious. Was it (the first) Quake? The music (Trent Reznor is a GOD) and atmosphere of dread always depressed me, which makes it one the most powerful games I've ever played. BTW Silent Hill 2 is the best one in the series IMHO. There some genuinely freaky moments in the game. eg. In the hospital level there is a room with bloodstained empty beds, dirty windows and I believe a box of bullets on the ground. As soon as u pick up the bullets, you hear a window break, and when you turn around, you see glass on the floor. Something broke in but there is nothing in sight! freaky
