Well the main idea of this is about the caprentry skill (and no im not going all rpg stuff on you) but this skill could come in handy for wielding doors with a extra push. Lets say your the only one out of 202 zombies, wielding the door looks like an option except that they barge through the door and eat the hell out of you. they would and if the caprentry skill came in handy you can wield it shut, then put like planks of wood on a door so it doesnt bust through. but it probably woudnt work since your the only one there. but it would cost supplies like wood, nails, hammer and so on and so on. bigger things (like newer things you can build and more durability and stuff.) require upgrade (you still may be thinking this is an rpg idea but its not) upgrades can cost pounds from the merchant which then it will have more durability and protect from them barging in. You can weld it shut and put the planks on it, but after the planks are in you cant put any more planks untill one breaks. note: the first skill is bought from the merchant and hammer nails and others can be bought or found. Tell me what you guys think

i dont think the unreal engine is capable of that. Or if it is possible to make the skill from scratch, it will probably take a hell of a time.

It's just a matter of the idea being incredibly over-detailed and involved without adding much interest to the game.

Ouch... I must say though, kudos for a new idea. Skills have never come up before. But your skill only makes welding last longer. If it had some great new purpose that added a new way of playing, then you have a good idea. I really like the barricading idea. I have been playing Dead Rising alot, and its fun as hell to move objects and barricade yourself inside a shop. In KF 1.0 people used Karma objects all the time to get specimens stuck or slow them down, especially in Biotic Labs. I do miss it. It made things alittle more interesting, but other times it was just cheap. I guess thats why it wasn't implemented as much in 2.0. A way to maybe pick up objects, barricade and specimens can break karma objects would be cool. BTW, Dead Rising, another awesome zombie game if your looking for one. I'm currently addicted.
