Custom skins.

Hello KF team and players im some what new to UT04 got it on the summer but just didnt have time for it so i installed it agian a week ago so im a little new.

I wanted to talk about skins could we take the skins you have on the game now and do different things with them with out messing up the game? Im asking before hand because in land of the dead people on the site www.undeadgames.com for land of the dead game usage there still trying to put skins on becase when they do and you join a server it will say Missing package or Mismatch package, land ot the dead is built with the Unreal engin so its the same thing as ut04.

So yes could you make your own skins for the mod already or no?

Wait your telling me the reason why i see ppl on my server some times with textures missing from them and they look like unreal players is thats there own coding skin?

Basically. Jacobs (from UT2004) will appear usually as a default skin for those who try and mod the mod

One of the .UPLs also doesn't work properly, so that may be an issue.

i've seen someone using xan online and was all ;O

one of the KF skins, urban, shows up white as there isnt a texture for it, although people still use it anyway o.O

and it IS possible to use skins ingame, but you just cant select them in the menu, you just have to know how

I would love it if someone made a Jin-Roh like skin or just used the UT2004 one.. It already looks like he's from Killing Floor anyway..

i did some tinkering of my own on an urban skin, i could finish it in the next hour or so if i keep at it



could also do it in standard camo, desert choccy chip, or pink camo ;D

couldnt leave it unfinished, maybe some tweaking after i see it ingame, looks a bit bright, otherwise, done

Not bad, but I'd say leave the vest a dark grey color like the pouches and the camo abit darker colored, as it looks more winter camo than urban.

i know what you mean abyx, matching top makes it look crappy. looks much better now





and that wierd square is for apparently theres a scripted name badge if you use the default soldier
