Wow I cant believe I never heard of this mod before. I just got this today and from what I have played so far its absolutely brilliant. Im only saddened that the playerbase is quite small and I do hope you guys switch over to red orchestra because it would without a doubt gain the mod many more players. Also the mod could use some work on animations and bug fixing, and possibly more weapons. Anyways, its been a while since I've had so much fun in a zombie mod, cant wait to see what you guys have planned next. Cheers. ;D

It was a suggestion. This forum is full of them.

RO has been suggested before, Alex gave an explanation to why he didnt do it. I stand by my opinion.

Hmm, when I looked at it I thought he was considering it...

He was considering it, but he didn't like the idea of it much. As for why the mod lacks some weapons and etc, it's mainly because Alex was on a tight schedule, he had to move to Scotland and etc, so he had to release it before then, and after he did, well, his hardrive fried so he no longer has the stuff of the mod to make anything more for it basically. That's the basics anyway.

So the mod wont have any more updates in the near future?

Not moving to RO =/= no updates.
As stated before, moving to RO would seriously cut our fanbase. RO is a retail mod. Granted a lof of ppl play it, it's a very small percent of the ppl that play 2k4. Not everyone that plays 2k4 has played KF. Not everyone that owns RD will play RO:KF. RO is just a much smaller potential audiance compared to what we already have.

Well, in RO's defence, the majority of people still playing UT2k4 have been playing it for a while and have already decided whether or not they want to play mods and if so which ones they do. RO would at least have the fresh people who got RO because it was new on steam. However, its pretty much set that KF is not moving to RO.
What I wouldn't mind seeing, however, would be two versions released concurrently, one for RO, and one for UT2k4, and updates would be released for both. However, it'd still be a lot of work.
