We have carefully watched as the team decided to stay away from the first phase of the MSU. No comments about it here, but there is another place where the mod might gain recognition. Not sure if anyone in the developer team is aware, but the Independent Games Festival is opening a category for mods and, giving a quick look around, Killing Floor is elligible to participate. I understand there's an entry fee ($25), but I feel KF is solid enough to confront the likes of Natural Selection or Red Orchestra. So, what do you fellows say? |

Since I don't own a credit card, I can't pay 25$ to win 500$ (no comment about that, oh wait that was already a comment!). If someone else is gonna pay for it and shipping the physical comics until thursday I'll be happy to participate monetarily with 2 or 3 $.

Sounds like a shit return tbh. Its hardly enough money to make it even worth bothering. And the cover chare is pretty lame imo.
P.S the reason KF wasn't entered in the MSU is because by the time the VERY first (demo) was released - the MSU was more or less closed for entries.
KF just came late in the game.

It would almost be worth it for the extra recognition. Unfortunately, I can't contribute the whole 25 right now. That's a lot of money for a feeble chance at $500.

Take a walk down the street, and find 3 people who play video games. Tell each of them about KF. They'll in turn tell their friends.
nice, you've just gained KF a wider audience than this competition probably would, and at none of the cost!

I got Amos and Peng to play, and then they spreaded KF with their lan parties they do every Friday.

I kidnap people, strap them to chairs, and keep their eyes forced open with clamps all the while forcing them to play killing floor and giving them an introvenous line of a propietary concoction of drugs designed to weaken will power.

I do a similar thing with the rocky horror picture show, only it usually involves some form of venemous insect when I get bored.
Whenever I see someone playing UT I tell them about killing floor, and I've gotten three or so who play semi-regularly, so say hi for me if ya'll see someone named t3h_g00ber, silent_assassin, or that_one_guy.
