I'm gonna kick your ass, I swear.
KF isn't about survivors, everyone does survivors, KF does DRF survivors kicking ass.

i know that but Kf needs to be more varied in skins and models honestly the normal ones aren't enough at least consider my idea jeez
besides 28 days later started out with normal people kickin ass and the military was interested in their own personal gain. p.s. sorry if was a bit grumpy but im tired of KF throwing out DRFmembers at me that have boring backgrounds p.p.s no offense alex

I wanna kick your ass because you suggested someone from Trigun.
Yes they aren't enough, but Alex isn't around to work on more, and no one here is really willing to learn to skin.

Yes, it would be more fun if we had a bit more of a variety of characters, however I think it would be in the community and game's best interest to keep these characters within the KF gamestyle. KF is far better suited with characters that have a sort of Silent Hill/Resident Evil style to it. And when making characters, it is a high standard that you do not make an obvious derivation of a character from something. In your case, Trigun.
So, if ya want new characters, yeah - that's cool. However, we need characters that look like they play the KF part.

Out of all the things that can be added to KF, I think skins would be last. It's not really needed, or changes the game in any way. There could only be one skin, the dude with the gas mask, and I wouldn't care. Important to least importantGamemodes Guns Maps Meshes Textures A Squirrel More emotes on the forum Skins Sorry mate.

Hey, I like it.
Hmm, howabout a character that looks like a medic or some civillianesque looking person?

A medic character would be a welcome addition, however, civilian models are out of the question. One of the core defining features about KF is that its Military-esque people VS. Zombie (I know, I know, 'Specimens', but Alex only changed their name to that so that he could have more artistic freedom).
Darkonxy, first off no trigun characters. Violation of character copywrites, and stupid, to boot. Civ characters are, again, out of the question.
Perhaps once the SP level development is in full steam, a civilian could be in it, but it would have to be short and non central to gameplay. Maybe you see them, and there's a bit of hope that you aren't alone in the game, and then they get munched by a crawler or something.

Considering I've been fooling around with player models for a while now. I'd like to say it's a pain in the ass and I haven't even gotten to skinning and UV mapping But I agree, another player model isn't REALLY needed, and civilians would be a bad idea. I want to keep the idea of the DRF, I mean, if we had say, four gas mask Jims, then some hairy, overweight bald guy running around blasting monsters, it'd look weird. If I get to the process where I agree with my modeling enough to support the team with some new models, I'll offer, but for now I'm still in the midst of tweaking everything

Maybe a medic character (the white+red cross thing) would be cool. But please... Trigun?

well, I was already working on some thing like that, but more of a satchel bag, same color, just a bit of a different shade (to be more noticable) of green as the DRF uniform with a red cross on it and a white circle behind it. Maybne in a few weeks or some thing I'll have some screenshots worthy of posting.

If anything, a medic char should really look like a mecic that's equipted to use the firstaid injector, IE: Shotgun shell holders filled with the small consiters on the vest.
