Great mod guys been kinda playing it non-stop and having alot of fun with it. Recently been going online with it and had fun every time but why no mic support?
Mic support has alot of use to tell your teammates to back up, run, cover, reload, meet-up, zombies behind you etc etc etc....
Sometimes you have time to type these things but alot of times you don't and when your playing with alot of pubs getting organized can sometimes be hard. Infact sometimes you avoid the pubbers and just stick with a friend or someone you know who is good.
Personally I think mic support should be in this mod just to make gameplay that much better. Only reason I think you don't have it is because of more server resources.
Oh and bigjohnmp.... your server went down and we need that back = )

I know, KF-BioticsLab causes it to crash occasionally... And as far as VOIP support goes, I have the default options for it enabled on my server, so it should work, but it doesn't...

They (the suits lol) coded it off. You can't turn it back on, sadly.

It would be neat if they told us why they took it off. Anyways I hope they bring it back in.

True. There are much better alternatives to the built-in UT2004 VOIP.

yea ian third party voip is good teamspeak, ventrillo etc etc... but that doesn't really help in pubs with a bunch of pubbers who can't really communicate very well. PLus not everyone is gonna know the teamspeak or the ventrillo or the etc etc... at least with the voip everyone playing the game will actually hear you unless you got your sound turned off

However... there's no reason to disable it, as you can always turn it off for yourself... there has to be a better reason then "We didn't like it"...

UT2004 VOIP isnt the most easier thing to set up, its not like Valve games. The only thing U can really do is set up a teamspeak, ventrillo or roger wilco server and have your server tell the gamers (MOTD) about it, or have a website link so that keen players go there. Its a tough thing to sort out on public servers.
