Is is just meant as a proof of concept since mapping in general makes me angry and I want to leave it at a minimum... So, this map spawns a random maze that the player theoretically has to go through (He even gets a nifty "congratulations!" afterwards), but has to fight of the zombies anyway. Whatever, this might be helpful for other mapmakers who want to and some randomness into their maps like blocking certain parts or whatever. Try it yourself: www.megaupload.com/?d=SMODV7Y9Oh, and I get a massive lag when there's a ragdoll in the level. I still try to figure out why. Would be nice if someone else would try it, too Screenshot isn't neccessary since this map is ugly as hell.

Sounds... intriguing. Doesn't have to be pretty if it's fun in my book... hell, I still play the original Final Fantasy from time to time...
I'll give it a try. Are you the only one with the ragdoll issue?

Going to look like an idiot but everything I try, this map doesn't work or causes a critical error, I've put the files in both my map directory and also in the system folder as they should be, I assume I've done something completely wrong though.

Nah I wouldn't say that. It could be that I have used an old .u file on this, that would explain the massive ragdoll-lag, too. I'll look into it.

it worked and yeah it's pretty ugly but not a bad little gizmo, though I can't see it being too useful for very much. Made it to the end then got mauled to death. Randomly generating building interiors though in large maps would be insane though.

ragdoll is the way the bodies of the things you kill go limp and flop around. The alternative is a scripted death sequence... did you ever play the first Turok for N64? That had scripted deaths (and damn cool ones). Ragdoll lets the body behave according to limitations in space... an arm won't go through a wall, it'll bend to follow it.

Turok!, now that was an awesome game. Sorry had to get that off my chest, go on.

It truly was... that game was so amazing to me when I first got it, and the second one was just as awesome... but man, go back and try it now... lol...
Wonder why the ragdoll would cause issues like that... would it be Karma? I assume the bodies are affected by it.

I guess it has to do with over 2000 volumes being in that level. Karma-collision doesn't seem to like that.
