finally i got the zip on a server. puhh sorry mrmedic. i tried to send it to you via mail. it failed. get it here: www.megaupload.com/de/?d=HWRWEVEXbe carefull! these files can ruin your KF 2.0 installation. read this first: WARNING! WARNING! The files in this zip-file will REPLACE the ORIGINAL files of your KF 2.0 installation. you will be INCOMPATIBLE to other installations and you wont be able to join servers in the internet unless they have the same files in their installation. MAKE BACKUPS FIRST! rename the originalfiles, this way they can stay in the KF 2.0 folder. for example KFPawnDamageSound.uax to KFPawnDamageSound.original KFPlayerSound.uax to KFPlayerSound.original KFWeaponSound.uax to KFWeaponSound.original hope you like the adjustments tronicmind

someone said it takes talent to make a triple post in less than 5 minutes. i topped that: i created a threat with KF 2.0 relevant content that everyone ignores (besides 39 peps which klicked the thread acidently, i guess) THAT TAKES TALENT.
Well, i think i expect to much and give to less and this is why noone wants the sound-adjustment.
renaming files! oh my god... reprogramming the whole game is simplier than that.
Yeah! you will be incombatible if you are the only one having the new sound. you are imcombatible to the millions of killing floor community-members. you cant join any server in the whole universe and since you are unable to comunicate with the others you are isolated and left to rott with your copy of KF 2.0.
But how the hell did faust the patch, the beta-testing and how in the world are the killfests arranged? well i guess this will be a mystery for all time.
and last but not least what do you get if you go all the nine yards with renaming files and find other players with the same files? theres nothing to see! no new textures no weapon balance changed no new monster no new weapon NOTHING only a few sounds changed, and whats the diffrence between piff and paff?
besides that i guess most of you play with soundeffects on a low level to mute cause otherwise you cant understand what the other players say on team-talk.
well it looks like i found the quiet spot in the KF 2.0 universe. thats the fate of sound in a world of eyes.

No one paid attention because no one is interested, perhaps they're content with the current sound affects?
No one asked you to do this, as far as I know. So really you can't get all bent out of shape because people aren't praising you for a soundpack that would prevent people from joining public games.

Honestly it was the compadablity errors that stopped me, I just didn't want to bother since even if I like the sounds I wouldn't be able to use them online.
