Hi, I had a Idea, because i have mapped on a huge CS:S map named Mappers-home. The Idea is simple: Everyone here (who can map) builds a house. After we have a few, we put all them into 1 map. Sum1 must create the street and the city-plan (of course). This map wouldn't be playable on the Internet, but @ Lans it will rock . Say what do you think about it .

Seems very difficult, and how would you put it all together?

Copy paste?
His idea seems like giving everyone a huge box of legos to build a house each, and then someone takes all the houses and puts them onto a single platform peice.
Sounds interesting, actually.

Yeah it is. But we need 1 Project Leader who make a plan of the town. like the streets, where is what (maybe a hospitla or a Mall or a school). BUtsuch a projekt will need lot of time to create and to prepare.

Dude, the Unreal Engine can support 64 zones. I think we can zone it well enough

Well, if each house is about 3-4 zones, and only 8 of us have posted in here, that's only about 24-32 zones there. Barring the outside street, of course.

I would implement some custom code in my shag, making it a spawnpoint for some shotgunwelding zombiesoldiers and crawlers during ALL waves MUHAHAHAHAHAHAA. Oh, and I'd hide a chainsawpickup in there which I'd have ridiculously overpowered for my onw personal pleasure!

A big black box. Maybe even with some texture in it.
