Hello guys I'm new to KF and let me say its one of the best mods iv played for an game since half-life heck...its better than half-life. And I'm new to the forms.
I know theres a map maker out there but is it only for the makers of KF or is it free? Because i do see people playing new maps and i wanted to know where do you get this stuff.
And i would like to know is it as easy as the Unreal Ed map maker? Or is it bran spa-ken new but its hard to learn but in the end you will be making maps left and right?

It's just Ued set up to handle to new properties for Killing Floor. To run it, use ...UT2004\KFMod20\RunKF_Ed.bat.

You use the Unreal Ed to create the maps, it being a UT2k4 mod after all.
edit: ^ he got first

Unreal ed is free as it came with the game. it's in your UT2004/system folder. If you want to learn Ued you could try tutorials like Architectonic unreal

Run the KF editor .bat file in the system folder of KF20. This opens a version of the editor that works fine with all the KF stuff.

You dont HAVE to do it that way. You add some paths to a .ini or something. It doesn't matter for me, because I copy both KFmod2 into its own ut2004 directory, and into its respectable folders in the ut2004 folders. So even if I open a kf map in the normal UEd, it works fine for me.

You can easily run the editor for any UT2k4 mod by running C:/whatever directory you have UT2k4 in/UT2004/System/UnrealEd.exe -mod=the folder name of the mod. For KF for me on my friend's PC (Damn no UEd on mac!) it would be C:/UT2004/System/UnrealEd.exe -mod=KFMod20.
