i read alot in the forum here. and there is one issue coming up alot: is this mod to easy or to hard. I think it is as hard as we make it. this matter rests in the our, the communitys, hand. alex and faust and gibby and the rest of the team give us a starting point. they try to give us the elements. we can arrange them the way we like it. this starts in the way we play the maps. camping or moving, bulpup or hunting shotty. west london or office. OUR decision. it goes on with creating content. easy to camp maps or maps where you have to move around. OUR decision. you get the point: take your part of the responsibility

i read alot in the forum here. and there is one issue coming up alot: is this mod to easy or to hard. It's just one thing: There are professional organized pros and there are wannabe Rambos ... The thing is: If I want to get better, I don't play like one of the "wannabe Rambos", I play organized. But that ends up mostly in the point, that the game is too easy. I don't want to say that Im one of those pros, I just want to mention on how it goes and why they say it's too easy. Ah and I forgot one important cathegory of players: Wannabe pros ~ That's the group of people, playing the game with starting cash 300+, difficult: Normal (or below - It's possible!) and say they kick ass on suicidal.

Id say its hard, i mean Me and Abyx can barely complete Westlonden with a hunting shotgun on normal. But then again our waves are mad adjusted, so yea.

As far as I am concerned Killing Floor is a difficult game.
Barring some exploits in the AI, or the map layouts, and the fix for max enemies scaling to difficulty like it should have at release, even pros will be having a really tough time.
It's all a matter of making sure that the zombies perform as they were meant to - in all situations. That's no simple feat - but it's being worked on.

As Alex said, often the ones saying it is too easy just abuse (as if there is anything like using it normally) the small exploits in the zombies AI, the latest patch allready took care of a lot of those exploits, more will follow. KF is absolutely not a game you can master in one day.

Even without the patch I still find the game hard. Playing on your own requires alot of skill and patience, I have to admit sometimes I actually prefer playing with no more than 3, it can be a right pain in the ass, panic all the time, haha.
I simply cant wait to see what enhancements there are with the patch.

Oooh soo cant wait for this, thats gonna be freaky having their heads turn to look at you. Plus if they are more strategic then this is gonna be hard as nails, its gonna require some good team work.

playing publicly, depends on the server, i've bee on quite a few where its suddenly 12 per wave on normal, and its just retarded as to why you'd set that up. best place i've seen is sonix's server with his server config, it just kicks ass, and both of us were getting killed on wave 1 of west london, there was just so many enemies ^^ plus having FF turned on is just brilliant, it should have been on from the start

Yeah, probably. I'd rather not have FF on, I KNOW ZB would shoot me in the ass like a pussy or something, but either way.

I'm usually an advocate for FF being on, but not in this.. way too chaotic, and hard enough as it is... with six people you can see upward of 200 specimins per wave... when that's mostly Stalkers and Crawlers, you don't have time to think about what the f*ck you're shooting at.
Oh, Antigod, for an example of the head thing, look in my 'Screenshots from HELL' thread, and find the one of the clots heading towards the stairs where the other clot is on fire.

FF is only ever good in tactical shooter games like CS, TO or DoD, and only because in those games people can be asses and decide they just want to play to be as annoying as fuck, and if you can't TK the assclown that is constantly flashbanging the team, then it gets mighty annoying.
KF is a teambased game, so if someone wants to be an assclown, usually they'll just end up dead to zombies anyways.
