Looking good from the screens. I'm always excited to see what people can create using the default Mesh / Texture library I provide. I think that the layout of the central area with the staircases is very solid, but it would benefit from custom meshes. In fact - that extends to most of the custom maps. A good rule of thumb is to consider doing around 10-15 brand new textures / significant meshes for each thematically unique map. That number will vary given how different it is from the regular KF maps of course. And if you can't model or skin - that's fine. No pressure. I'm just pointing out what would make the difference between a fun , well made map, and a map that would be on par with any of the official KF maps. At some point, someone is going to have to create new assets for their idea

Test youre map more finish it it 100% THEN release it. *Just an idea* zB, stop it man ... That map is (even in unfinished status) a really damn good one. I loved that map from the beginning, when I first tested it, sure there are some small bugs ... But remember one thing: Even the official KF2.0-Maps themself aren't bugfree and they're made by a professional mapper (IMO). So stop complaining without having arguments about what you find that bad about it *Just an idea*. Sry, but I really hate that ... cheffe isn't as good as Alex at mapping, that's why he posted a pre-release here so we can test it and find the bugs, he didn't know till now ~ It's like you do with betaPatch at the moment.

Why release maps that arent finished 100%? Siriously, it might just be me talking as a battlefield vietnam mapper, but i would NEVER release a map i wasnt even satisfied with (or completed 100%).
Aight sorry shouldnt be soo critical. Sorry for my posts.

It's just cuz he needs help to find the bugs.
For example: Why do you think, you're an betatester for the new patch?
You can see this map as ... well ... an open-beta one.

Just want to bump this one and make you keep working on the map cheffe, it's really neat. Easily one of my favourite maps, and for sure my favourite map amongst the non-officials.
I really like the central area..

My advice, google pics for a shopping mall. That will give you some ideas and help you make it more realistic. That or drive to your nearest one and look around. Messing around in the editor or browse around in the textures and meshes has helped me sometimes.

The map, honestly in it's current form is terrible. But it has alot of potential, I like the general layout of the mall although things are too extreme in terms of shape and such. But it's a cool idea that could be shaped into something much more awesome.

Don't get discouraged. ZB and Abyx may seem harsh, but it's because you have a lot to give. Don't give up on this, you have a lot of people who would be willing to help. You have a forum full of people aching for these things, ask them. Some can model, some can map, some can walk down to the nearest mall and take photos for you. (sadly, I'm the last one... lol)
