I still have my old, crappy 19 gig HD, but I am planning on buying a new one (maybe) at some point in time. Anyway, I introduced a couple of my friends to KF 2.0 and they love it! I got a chance to play for numerous hours at their house and I must say I'm impressed. Here's the good stuff:
Massive Maps: I love how each map is large enough to feel like a single player level, yet interconnected and tweaked with item spawns to be suitable for multi-player.
Interesting Zombies!: Each zombie has a special ability or advantage that makes them a tactical asset to the AI and a true danger to the player. Even the standard vanilla zombie has the advantage of numbers.
Tactics!: The welder and trader are excellent additions to KF. Between rounds, you have to make the choice of either going back for ammo or preparing your barricades for the next onslaught. Also, teamplay really gives an advantage with the health syringe and welding.
Health system: Keeping the decreasing speed with decreasing health system and the addition of the med-syringe has made gameplay exciting since staying at 100% health is vital.
Now, for the few bad parts of 2.0
Bugs: There are only a few, such as the winchester's iron sights going weird. They are generally pretty minor and can be delt with easily.
Player animations: They look goofy, but it's not like it cripples the game.
Good work with 2.0! I hope I can get a new HD so I can play!
