Im hosting a server as admin, and it seems I have no particular powers... the normal console commands for the UT2004 don't seem to work such as the kick command and many various. it would be kool if you could list a bunch of console commands in this thread that would really make admins feel in power of their own server. thankz

If you wanna kick someone, login and type Kickban *name*.
Don't do it in the waiting room though, 60% chance your game will screw up.

Setup an admin pw before starting the game. After it's loaded login through console
adminlogin "adminpass"
When you're done
adminlogout
You die logging out though, 2k4 anti-admin abuse precaution, so use sparringly.

ok any more useful commands, like grav, speed, and particular powers for me as admin such as god(invinsible) etc. ive seen this on standard UT2004 Servers, just curious if its available on here

hehe admin set pawn health 1000
normal health is 100, i dont know why it affects speed

I don't understand what's wrong. I started a game twice, but I don't know what I did. It just seems to sit there doing nothing. Could someone go through, step by step, what you need to do to start up a server by yourself, not on the internet.
EDIT: also, health affects the speed you walk at, and there isn't a top speed. So you go as fast as you like...

If you just want to try maps offline just get to the menu and open the console.
open kf-westlondon?game=kfmod.kfgametype
AFAIK only works in windows and I honestly cant say why. Doesnt work in nix. This is odd bc this is the (nearly) same command that's in the logs used for bringing up a map for playing mp. I'm also puzzled by this since a batch file with
UT2004 kf-westlondon?game=kfmod.kfgametype -mod=kfmod20
should work, yet doesn't. Same as trying to start it via console in nix, you dont spawn and the map changes in a few sec.
