this happend to me twice online so far......... some times my screen goes into blur mode (well white screen for me) and locks that way even after i die. so i respawn with my screen sill frozen white, the only way i can fix it is to disconect and rejoin. this is a REALLY bad bug......... any one else getting this some times?

If you're on a mac, the whiteout thing is a given, but I haven't done enough testing to experience what you are experiencing.
What vidcard/os and os version are you using?

Well there was the same thing in the previous version and a "patch" was released I bet there will be a patch for that version  |

What vidcard/os and os version are you using? well my guess is that its my OS, i am running 10.3.9 if it were a later version i dont think i would be getting the white screen bug. i do think the blur bug can happen on a pc tho (the lock bug not white screen for 2 sec). i hope a mac patch comes out...... also i have been getting a shit load of crashing during loading screens and online play. |

Actually, that's not true lara, I get white out on this mac, I just have access to a PC. I think the whiteout happens on any mac that is under OS 10.4.2 and with graphic cards that are worse than some amount which I don't know yet, since I don't have a gamut of macs and cards to test it on. All I know is that it doesn't work on this comp and my dad's comp, which has a radeon 9000 series card in it (not sure which one though).
The issue might be fixed in a later patch, since Alex and I were *almost* on to fixing it via brainstorming and random luck over MSN, but the deadline came up and Alex had to release.

what about all the crashing i have been getting on my mac? could you just play KF for 10 min (or more...) on a mac and tell me how it goes (you'll just have to ignore the white screen if you do test this)?

Try disabling projectors if you havent already. Offices caused several WinXP BSODs related to my vid drivers. You, like myself, probably dont have the hardware to enable it  . Have had no problems since. Besides a low res everything else is on+max. |

Oh I've played for more than 10 mins, I don't get much crashing, just the whiteout bug. I dunno, maybe try zynth's idea.
